Stumbled on this article by Joe Wehbe after a chat with a friend, and I couldn’t stop re-reading it. Was I too slow to get the point? Or did I just love it so much that I kept coming back? Blog post intros are really important… But what about conclusions? They also matter a lot. Learn how to write great conclusions that make readers stay on your blog for longer. Here’s your step-by-step guide:

Any skywatchers out there? I think I have seen more Comets this year just because I looked up, have you seen any recently? ………………………….. Small talk, to some this phrase makes you cringe to others it’s a tool in your toolbox of sucess. My thoughts, small talk is a critical skill, but seriously make it interesting and relevant. Small talk fills my C.O.O.K. (Collector of odd knowledge) book, but only when it’s intentional and genuine. So if we are talking weather, it better be something along the lines of a phenomenon, abnormal occurrence or historical importance, like two different collective groups of Acadia’s are having an overlapped 7 year mass hatching event this year. Now that is wierd, interesting, could lead into some great conversation or just leave a “Huh” impact!

There is a scientific way to improve your luck. I recently finished a book called Chase, Chance and Creativity. According to James Austin, there are 4 types of Luck: Blind Luck: Random chance events. Motion Luck: Luck from taking action. Recognizing Luck: Recognizing opportunities from experience and preparation. Attracting Luck: Building a unique character and skillset. It’s a fascinating exercise to think about ways we can intentionally draw more luck into our lives. 🍀
