Teamwork is everything in hospice care. The synergy between hospice practitioners is crucial. Each team member, from nurses to social workers, plays a vital role in ensuring patients receive the best possible care. When everyone collaborates effectively, the quality of care improves, and patients and their families feel more supported. I've seen firsthand how cohesive teams can make a significant difference. At KR Hugill Associates, we prioritize placing professionals who not only excel in their roles but also thrive in team environments. This focus on teamwork leads to better patient outcomes and a more positive work atmosphere. What are your thoughts on the importance of teamwork in healthcare? Nurse practitioners are currently playing a vital role in healthcare systems across the country. NPs are key players in alleviating healthcare staffing shortages thanks to the many services they have been trained, educated, and certified to provide. NPs can perform physicals and procedures, diagnose and treat acute illnesses, manage chronic conditions, prescribe medications, order and interpret lab work, and much more while promoting patient wellness. Over the next decade, it's predicted that the NP role in will continue to grow and expand to meet patients' growing demands for high-quality health care. #NursePractitioners #CareForPA #AccessToCare #WholePersonCare #AdvancedPracticeNurses #FullPracticeAuthority #NPWeek

Pennsylvania is facing a healthcare provider shortage and healthcare access crisis, with restrictions on NPs only worsening these issues. “We have to have a signed, written, collaborative agreement with at least two physicians on file in Harrisburg,” said nurse practitioner and PCNP President-Elect Janice Miller. “This prevents a lot of NPs from being able to see patients in rural communities, where doctors have retired or doctors are leaving, and there is no health care left for the residents and the community.” Pennsylvania's outdated restrictions continue to push skilled, qualified NPs to leave PA in the midst of a workforce shortage, making it more even more difficult for PA residents to find and access health care. It's time for Pennsylvania to grant NPs full practice authority – a proven solution to attract and keep skilled NPs here in Pennsylvania, while expanding access to care for patients across the state. #PCNP #LobbyDay #FullPracticeAuthority #NursePractitioners #Advocacy #AccessToCare #HealthcareAccess #CareForPA
