B-BBEE VERIFICATION // SKILLS DEVELOPMENT   In order to be able to claim Skills Development spend under the Skills Development Element on the B-BBEE scorecard there are certain pre-requirements that needs to be in place. One of these requirements are the submission of your company’s Workplace Skills Plan and ATR.   Actions or Control which should be implemented to ensure compliance with the Skills Development Act.   • Any entity which has a payroll in excess of R500 000 per annum must register with the DOL; • Provision of training (internal or external); • Payment of levies ; • Record of training retained; • Work plan skills   What we can see from this is that even if your are an Construction EME and your total payroll exceeds R 500 000, we as a verification agency will request your submitted WSP. This will be a requirement to obtain points under Skills Development (if Skills Development is selected as an element for enhancement instead of Enterprise Supplier Development) to avoid being discounted a level..

𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗣𝗙𝗢 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗹: → Visit the EPFO member portal: EPFO Member e-SEWA. 𝟯. 𝗟𝗼𝗴 𝗜𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗹: → Enter the employee’s UAN, password, and captcha code. → If the employee has not yet activated their UAN, they must do so by clicking on the "Activate UAN" link and following the instructions. 𝟰.
