I keep falling for the three-wheelers, and they keep breaking my heart. The Toyota iRoad, the Piaggio MP3, the Nimbus, the Arcimoto, the Sway, even the Cushman parking enforcement vehicles… and now the Streek. With 42,000 followers on Instagram, this might be the first meme trike. Produced in limited quantities in Japan (I clearly haven’t learned my lesson), it is coming to the states and mass production thanks to Vvolt and Alex Xu, who gave me a test ride. There is about a 10 minute learning curve as you get used to how it balances and handles. Once past that, it is genuinely fun to ride, unlike many three-wheelers. The ability to lock the front suspension when you stop so that the bike stays upright is great. Check out Streek’s instagram for the incredible range of cargo accessories it can handle and follow Vvolt for updates on availability. https://lnkd.in/gs3eCWxp.

Why does it keep breaking your heart, because they are so good or soo bad ?

I am also guilty of falling hard for innovative vehicles. :) You need to check out the Robin from Wings and the Lean3 from Leanmobility 極智移動. Wings is an EV startup based in India that is focused on building the "The Ultimate City Ride". The Robin is an innovative, two-seat microcar with the footprint of a 2wheeler that is like nothing else on the market. The only downside is that when the vehicle goes on sale next year it will only be available in India. As for Leanmobility 極智移動, it is a Japanese startup founded by the previous I-Road chief engineer which makes sense when you see their vehicle. The Lean3 has the same two-person, tandem seating configuration and active lean technology that made the i-Road so cool. The Lean3 goes on sale next year in Taiwan. Try not to fall too hard for these models!

What's the use-case? What is it for?

Cool! Enjoy! Did you test drive the Podbike FRIKAR? Four wheels and a great experience. I have one for one year now. Awesome!

Why a 3 wheeler? 2 wheels are more stable. 3 tip easily.
