Let's learn German - Der Wankpanzer [vaŋkpant͡sɐ]: 😊 Der Wankpanzer - a pointlessly large and overpowered SUV vehicle, usually purchased as a boost to the driver's ego is likely to have some kind of inferiority complex. 🤭 Well, I must confess that I like Tesla company. They produce very good battery electric cars with great tech inside. Tesla electric vehicles are very advanced in every detail and are the result of excellent engineers. The Tesla Cybertruck is no exception; it is an electric vehicle with excellent technology inside. The trouble is - its design. It is unsafe for pedestrians and would be illegal in the European Union. This machine is extremely powerful for its size, comparable to an F1 car making it hard for most drivers to handle safely. It can hit 0 to 60 in just 2.6 seconds, surpassing many supercars, and it's more power than most drivers can manage safely. This will endanger the lives of many other road users. 😱 I would prefer to see a promised Tesla Model 2 on the roads than a bulky toy for attention-seeking techno-brats in the style Mad Max movie. 🙈 Note: BTW I do not speak German at all. 🤭 #tesla
i doubt the Cybertruck is more dangerous for pedestrians than your average F150. Also with all the assistance systems, it is much safer to drive than a BMW M3. But ultimately, i have no idea what to buy one for. First, it will not fit in any parking lot, second it will not fit through narrow roads. But i do like the design, actually. Never seen anything as brutal and straight forward.
I don't speak German, but I assume it translates something to the effect of "Coolest Truck Ever"
"Advanced in every detail". Have you sat in their interiors?
I‘m German, never heard of that word. Doesn’t even make sense in German by the way…
BTW: we also have a Wankbahn: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wankbahn
Michael Sura While I agree with your logical approach, it is clear that there is little rational thought given to this debate by consumers. In many countries, hybrid vehicles are massively outselling all other types currently. As far as I can see there are two reasons for this - 1. Consumers who are reluctant to let go of a familiar technology that has provided reliable (but environmentally and health damaging) transport for over a century but who desperately want to do something to change their CO2 emissions impact, 2. A very successful PR campaign by the automotive industry (cheered on by the fossil fuel industry) to (falsely) convince consumers that hybrids somehow prevent CO2 emissions and are “green” choices. The beauty of the “wankpanzer”, as flawed and dangerous as it is, is that (like Elon Musk himself) it is a polarising and hugely magnetic and charismatic icon that focuses attention and debate on electric vehicles. The cybertruck, like the dinosaurs 🦖, will become extinct, but its legacy will be the further acceleration of the electrification ‘S’ curve that finally completes our technological transition away from combustion fuels (including hydrogen) in the transport sector. Keep up the good work! ✔️🙏

The word you created „Wankpanzer“ does not make any sense at all
