Thrilled to finally share this reflection! Recent triumphs underscore a fundamental principle I've always championed: "As long as you do the best you can every single day, it doesn't matter what the competition does." This time last year, I was excelling as the manager of all accounts North of Baltimore for Flashpoint. Notably, I secured significant market share from industry giants like Adecco and Kelly Services, exceeding quotas by over threefold and enjoying substantial commission checks. However, internal tensions arose due to disparities in success among team members. Despite our team's hard-earned achievements, I was removed from my position to maintain morale. Within three months, the office underwent significant restructuring, leaving it in disarray. Fortunately, I swiftly transitioned to a new opportunity. Surprisingly, my former manager's actions inadvertently granted me access to crucial insights into my former company's struggles, forgetting to have my permissions to access sensitive information restricted. Leveraging this information, I navigated legal challenges brought by Wonolo effortlessly. Flashpoint/Wonolo's current predicament serves as a stark contrast to my continued success. As they face potential closure, I'm thriving, acquiring both old and new clients with ease. This journey reinforces the importance of staying focused on our individual paths, regardless of external pressures. Let's continue to prioritize excellence daily, empowering ourselves and those around us to achieve unparalleled success. #BaltimoreStaffing
