Thrilled to finally share this reflection! Recent triumphs underscore a fundamental principle I've always championed: "As long as you do the best you can every single day, it doesn't matter what the competition does." This time last year, I was excelling as the manager of all accounts North of Baltimore for Flashpoint. Notably, I secured significant market share from industry giants like Adecco and Kelly Services, exceeding quotas by over threefold and enjoying substantial commission checks. However, internal tensions arose due to disparities in success among team members. Despite our team's hard-earned achievements, I was removed from my position to maintain morale. Within three months, the office underwent significant restructuring, leaving it in disarray. Fortunately, I swiftly transitioned to a new opportunity. Surprisingly, my former manager's actions inadvertently granted me access to crucial insights into my former company's struggles, forgetting to have my permissions to access sensitive information restricted. Leveraging this information, I navigated legal challenges brought by Wonolo effortlessly. Flashpoint/Wonolo's current predicament serves as a stark contrast to my continued success. As they face potential closure, I'm thriving, acquiring both old and new clients with ease. This journey reinforces the importance of staying focused on our individual paths, regardless of external pressures. Let's continue to prioritize excellence daily, empowering ourselves and those around us to achieve unparalleled success. #BaltimoreStaffing

Is the door open for you? Welcome In, a weekly series of reminders and possibilities that await you. Let's share with each other the moments that led us to a new path and those which led us astray. I'll start. Recently I attended a small conference of like minded individuals. Feeling invigorated when I left, I came upon one of the guest speakers (leaving his name out for privacy). I asked him where the exit to parking garage A was and he responded, oh, that's where I'm headed. Great, I thought. I can follow this guy. Well, his footspeed was twice that of mine so I never caught up to him and he never waited. About four paces behind him, I see him open the door to the parking garage. I'm two steps away from the door, see him make his way through and then the door slams shut. What did I do? I smiled, opened the door, and made my way to my vehicle. There are many things to learn here. Someone may not always hold the door for you, sometimes, you have to open it on your own. You are able, you can do it. #welcomeinseries #apexrecruitingconsulting #recruitersunite #talentedpeople #talenacquisition

Even Microsoft is dumping Woke-DEI agendas as laysoff Woke-DEI team, as it finds Woke-DEI is No longer #business critical. Plus Woke-DEI agendas+people leads to massive backlash with sales boycotts like Bud Light been experiencing for over a year. Then Woke-DEI agendas+people leads to massive companies backlash with boycotts at these companies like at Anheuser Busch and Disney and Target and Chick-Fil-A and Dave-N-Buster and Kellogg etc. Add to this requirement backlash boycotts for unfair competitive advantages inequality in favor of Woke-DEI people regarding hiring promotion non-firing non-layoff, like Cargill with it's minimum 50% woke-women in #management Woke-DEI push. Plus woke-SBA agendas of WOB MOB LGBTQ-OB Disabled-OB Veteran-OB unfair competitive advantages inequality against straight white non-disabled non-veteran men. That know three companies that replaced all white male owned IT vendor recruiting agencies with woke-women owned IT vendor recruiting agencies after woke-women threatened to report the company's to the woke-SBA plus sue them (the company's). Stop Woke-DEI people and stop pro-woke pro-dei enablers and stop Pro Woke-DEI companies & gov-agencies. Caveat note on #Cargill is their pro-woke pro-dei agendas due to their pro-woke pro-dei current+ex #CEO #Chairman David Mc + Brian S. Need big change like as #Beef their biggest BU then that #EVP John would make best CEO replacement. I know a super-user Sharon has many great qualities with only one bad quality that if she resolved would make a great business advisor person. I have never been a fan of the CEO also being a #Chairperson or #BoardMember too. Big changes are needed. I have near 40 years experience as a best-of-the-best IBM Synon2e RPG techie & #executive #management plus business #advisor consultant. I am available for #CEO or #CIO position. I am available also for #Boardmember positions. I also give high-paid #Csuite & #Board & #Shareholder & #Investor etc #advice consultation. I keep getting asked about Synon2e & RPG techie positions but they only need me to do other peoples work for them that only will do for a big price. Need #authentic #ethical top people that care and do Not try to silence great talent. READY FOR MY REAL HELP AS CHANGE STARTS AT THE TOP? #news #cfo #cio Fox Business Network #economy #finance #executive

1st Half is in the books and 2nd Half is already cranking away! Proud of our accomplishments so far in 2024 and Grateful for the opportunity to help great companies welcome great people into their teams! 50% of the year is past and we're 48% to our BHAG. Nearly on track, but time to step it up! If you're working with an EMS and struggling to fill critical roles, stop what you're doing and reach out now! Our avg "time to find" (the time it takes us to present the winner) is 1.72 weeks and our clients "time to fill" (the time it takes to get someone in the seat) is 6.4 weeks for 2024. ONLY The SearchWorks Group can run that accurately, that fast! So we'll take a day to pat ourselves on the back for a great 1st Half. Then we buckle back down to focus intensely on finishing 2024 strong! #searchworksgroup #emstalent #electronicsmanufacturing #contractmanufacturing

I've learned that if I go into a meeting with plans for how everyone else will behave... There's at least a 50/50 chance I'll be let down. At work, it's natural to create an idea for how we want a conversation to go. We schedule out every sentence and plan for certain responses, like it's a script. But here's the thing: People just don't follow those scripts I make up in my head! I heard somebody express frustration after a recent meeting. They said, "Well, that didn't go how I planned." Of course it didn't. People are unpredictable! And in that moment, is the person in that situation more frustrated because something went wrong or because things just didn't go the way they wanted? I expect it's the latter. I've found that eliminating my expectations going into conversations has also eliminated a lot of the stress around conversations. I try to hedge my bets. Focus on what I can control in the situation— What I am going to do and say. That's all we can do, right? --------- If you're interested in joining the Hoffmann Brothers team, we're looking to fill a number of positions in both St. Louis and Nashville. You can see the open positions and how to apply at this link, and feel free to message me if you have any questions. https://lnkd.in/eznwzS9T

Over the last week and a half, word got around about the recent acquisition. I’ve had clients reach out wondering what happens next. Some even expressed relief when I told them I’m still their guy. That’s when it kinda hit me. They were worried they’d lose me. I think most clients are tired of rolling the dice on new reps due to ‘restructuring’ / ‘territory changes’. I’ve been meeting a lot of new potential clients and I kid you not... I think a lot of people would be surprised to hear that most people do not have a good rep. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭: -Had good rep (high) -Had bad rep (highest) -Have good rep (low) -Have bad rep (lowest) 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬: -It's easy to get a bad rep and it's also easy to get rid of them -It's easy to get a good rep but unfortunately people leave/get promoted/get moved around What's your take?

**Title: The Price of Ambition** Dewayne and Saha were once colleagues at a rental company, both dreaming of greater success. Dewayne, always ambitious, decided to leave his stable job and start his own company. He hired his friends, including Saha, to help him build the business. The team worked tirelessly, often putting in 16 to 17-hour days. As the company grew, Dewayne enjoyed the benefits, securing deals and enjoying the perks of success. However, he only offered his friends salaries, ignoring their hard work and dedication. Frustration grew among his team as they saw Dewayne taking all the glory without sharing the rewards. One by one, his friends left, seeking better opportunities and work-life balance. Dewayne hired new employees who were more focused on reasonable work hours and fair compensation. But with his original team gone, the company's growth began to stall. Clients pulled back, and revenue dropped. Eventually, Dewayne was forced to close the business, realizing too late that true success is built on fairness, trust, and shared rewards.

I wish I had Paiger when I was working in recruitment. Reflecting on my recruitment days, I remember the relentless hustle to build connections and stay ahead of the curve. Back then, my toolkit lacked a piece that could have made the ride so much smoother. Paiger is a game-changer. It helps recruiters build personal brands, spot new business opportunities, attract the right candidates, and foster richer conversations. Designed specifically for the recruitment industry, it's no wonder Paiger has bagged numerous awards since 2018 for innovation. If only I'd had access to something this powerful during my recruitment career, I imagine things would have been different. For recruiters looking to elevate their game, I can't recommend Paiger enough. It bridges the gap between effort and efficient results. #RecruitmentInnovation #PersonalBranding #RecruitmentTools
