Finally #GoLang HandsOn and the REST-API project with #SQL & Auth in GoLang is completed and put on my #GitHub. Now its time to make the huge & complex #kubernetes project with #AWS #EKS, #observability (#kibana, #prometheus), #microservices, #ELK stack, #alerting on #slack etc. This project will give a huge weight to my resume. Here is the my proof-of-work of intense #golang handsOn with projects: https://lnkd.in/gB8VHZfF #LearnInPublic #devopscommunity #devops #cloud #cloudcomputing

The Go runtime for AWS Lambda was deprecated a few months ago. This doesn’t mean you should stop using Go to code your applications. You just need to package your Go code using the base runtime. The example below from Sourjaya Das shows how to setup a Lambda function and API which uses DynamoDB all with Golang and the base runtime. https://lnkd.in/ebSbjttk
Build and Deploy: With AWS (Lambda, API Gateway and DynamoDB) using Golang

Typescript Entity Manager's fluent API now reduces the code for a complex DynamoDB query by 2/3 from the JS version! Which was ALREADY small compared to the native AWS SDK. Only... Now I see a way to collapse the config object by about a third. Back to the drawing board!

As a Fullstack developer, it's great to explore various microservices architectures for our backend API. I found an comprehensive video by freeCodeCamp that explains how to run an AWS Lambda serverless application for our backend, along with PostgreSQL running serverless on Neon - (https://neon.tech/) and finally a Next.js application that fetches data from our services. All of our deployments will utilize GitHub Actions. https://lnkd.in/dET7VRhn

After reading the Golang Code Sample: API Role-Based Control documentation and a lot of trial and error, I developed a Go Auth Service that generates an Auth token using Auth0. At the same time, I am the Gin framework, which uses AWS RDS Postgres as its database Link to auth0 documentation - https://lnkd.in/gV2ttxxV #aws #rds #ecs #ec2 #ecr #gitlab #auth0 #go #golang #gin #gitlbci #docker #softwaredevelopment #backend #postgres #personaldevelopment #growth

Hi everyone, I'm sharing this project that demonstrates a robust microservices architecture using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Netflix Eureka and Spring Cloud Gateway. Includes: 🔹 Eureka Server for registration and service discovery 🔹 API Gateway for centralized routing and entry point 🔹 User Service for user data management with complete CRUD operations 🔹 Product Service for managing product information Check it out to learn how to build scalable, maintainable, and modular microservices with Spring Cloud! 👉Github: https://lnkd.in/dfBdXUC4 #Microservices #SpringBoot #SpringCloud #Java #Eureka #API #GitHub

AWS News: You can now use RubyGems with AWS CodeArtifact! Previously you could use CodeArtifact to centralize packages from npm, pip, nuget and others and now, to the joy of many Ruby developers who felt left out, you can integrate RubyGems.org as an upstream repository! You can point all your devs to import packages from the CodeArtifact repository only effectively creating an abstraction layer between your applications and all the public or private repositories where you may have libraries simplifying your package management efforts. Incidentally you also add resilience since CodeArtifact downloads the packages and keeps a copy of them so you don't have to worry about breaking the build if any packages are removed from public repositories. For a deep dive on this, I recommend Sébastien ☁ Stormacq's post: https://lnkd.in/eMJ4c2vG
