Our latest #WorkTrendsIndex is out and it brings great news for Australian knowledge workers. According to the report, 84% of Aussies use #GenerativeAI at work, surpassing the global average of 75%. This adoption rate is a positive sign for skills and productivity. However, the report also highlights a gap between employees and leaders. While employees are eager to use AI at work, they are unwilling to wait for companies to catch up. This presents an opportunity for leaders to channel this momentum into organisational impact. My favorite prompt is "give me insights to prepare my next meeting with partner x..." It provides me with insights based on my latest interactions (documents, emails, chats) and available data on the web for a successful meeting. What's your favorite prompt? #MicrosoftAustralia #MSModernWorkANZ #WorkTrendsIndex #CopilotANZ

Microsoft's latest #WorkTrendsIndex is here, and it shows Aussies are world-leaders when it comes to adopting #GenerativeAI. Some great insights, I typically start my day using #Copilot with a few basic prompts to help me get set up for the day, e.g. 'summarise all unread messages' and then follow up with prompts to help me organise what i'll prioritise first. It's also great at drafting messages for me. The most exciting parts as a Finance user is actually within PowerBi with the automated narrative feature... this is going to be a game changer. It's also been fun learning from my peers via an 'All thing AI' club I've hosted over the past few months.... so many emerging use cases. 84% of Australian knowledge workers use #GenAI at work, while the global average sits at 75%. It’s great news for skills and productivity, but the 2024 #WTI also found a disconnect between employees and leaders—with employees eager to use AI at work and unwilling to wait for companies to catch up, giving leaders the opportunity to channel this momentum into organisational impact. Our latest #WorkTrendsIndex is here, and it shows Aussies are world-leaders when it comes to adopting #GenerativeAI. 84% of Australian knowledge workers use #GenAI at work, while the global average sits at 75%. I want to share one of my favourite prompts which is just one of the ways I use Copilot every day: "Summarize my mails, Teams messages and channel messages from the last workday. List action items in a dedicated column. Suggest follow-ups if possible in a dedicated column. The table should look like this: Type (Mail/Teams/Channel) | Topic | Summarization | Action item | Follow-up. If I have been directly mentioned, make the font of the topic bold" Read the full report and learn more about AI at work and share your favourite prompt as a comment: https://lnkd.in/gKKKuJpQ #MicrosoftAustralia #MSModernWorkANZ #WorkTrendsIndex #CopilotANZ

Our latest #WorkTrendsIndex is here, and it shows Aussies are world-leaders when it comes to adopting #GenerativeAI. 84% of Australian knowledge workers use #GenAI at work, while the global average sits at 75%. What AI prompts is everyone using on a regular basis? My favourite (apart from Recap this meeting in Teams) is: Kindly summarize my emails, Teams messages, and channel messages from the past five days. Utilizing this data, please devise an optimal plan for the forthcoming week that will enable me to address and complete each activity. Present this information in a tabular format with the columns 'Date, From, To, Subject, Action Item.' Should my name be directly mentioned within the subject, I request that the font be bolded and the item be given the highest priority in the table. AI adoption in Australia is great news for skills and productivity, but the 2024 #WTI also found a disconnect between employees and leaders—with employees eager to use AI at work and unwilling to wait for companies to catch up, giving leaders the opportunity to channel this momentum into organisational impact. Our latest #WorkTrendsIndex is here, and it shows Aussies are world-leaders when it comes to adopting #GenerativeAI. 🌏 84% of Australian knowledge workers use #GenAI at work, while the global average sits at 75%. I had come across this specific document before but had totally forgotten where to find it (and I wasn't keen on spending 10 min hunting it down 😎). Copilot linked me the demo, told me the author, what it included, and also linked another document that might be similar! 2024 Work Trend Index Annual Report is here! Each year, Microsoft releases the Work Trend Index report. This report provides insights into current workplace trends and offers a glimpse into the future of work. 🌐📊 Some of the key findings: 🚀 75% of knowledge workers are now using AI, with nearly half starting in the last six months. The impact? Significant time savings, enhanced focus on critical tasks, boosted creativity, and increased job satisfaction. 🕒 Top Teams users have summarized an entire workday’s worth of meetings in using AI tools like Copilot, which usually take an entire workday to complete manually. The task was accomplished much more quickly with AI assistance, freeing up valuable time for these users. 🔍 Despite the clear benefits, leaders are cautious. 79% recognize AI’s necessity for competitiveness, yet 59% are hesitant about measuring productivity gains. 📈 AI usage has nearly doubled recently, but without top-level endorsement, 78% of employees are covertly bringing personal AI tools (BYOAI) to work, risking data security and missing out on AI’s full potential. Did you BYOAI to work today? 😉 #ArtificialIntelligence #WorkplaceInnovation #Leadership #Productivity #Copilot #WorkTrendIndexAnnualReport To read more, browse the link below: https://lnkd.in/gtmfbyCQ https://lnkd.in/g94Uq6G3
