Server - It’s recommended that you choose white wine with your meal. Patron – I’ve never had wine. I know nothing about it. I’m not sure which one to choose. Server – I have 20 other customers to take care of. I’ll leave the list of white wines with you. Just let me know when you’ve made your choice. Substitute Case Manager for Server, Patient for Patron, and Post-Acute Provider for Wine. This conversation happens thousands of times every day in hospitals. Most hospitalized patients (who need post-acute care) do not understand the terms home health, skilled nursing facility, or inpatient rehabilitation. However, they are expected to choose their favorite post-acute provider quickly prior to discharge. Doesn’t it make sense for patients to understand what level of post-acute care will benefit them before giving a list of providers? GuidingPatients helps patients and their loved ones better understand each level of care. For example, https://lnkd.in/g3wE_sHU If your hospital struggles with extended stays and need to free up beds, take a look. #Healthcare #PatientExperience #Hospitals

Senior care operators, how are you currently keeping track of resident attendance at mealtimes?✅🚫 Regular assessments and ongoing monitoring of residents' health and well-being are common across many State Regulations, particularly for Assisted Living Communities and Nursing Homes. An important indicator for a required wellness check is an unexpected missed meal. Diner Participation Reports in our Point of Sale system help you stay compliant with automatic digital logs of diner participation, so your team is instantly alerted of unusual activities. Plus, you’ll be able to instantly provide proof of provision of service in the case of an inspection. Every hospital I’ve ever worked with has a series of expectations for their staff members related to the patient experience. Things like addressing patients by their preferred name or taking responsibility for trash or spills are usually on the list. Your hospital probably also has a list of “service standards” in some policy manual or online. This list is often reviewed at orientation and, maybe reviewed during annual training. Even written standards are common, a significant number of organizations fail to hold employees accountable for them. At your facility, how do you hold everyone equally accountable for service standards? #BrandPromise #HealthCare #ServiceStandards #PatientExperience #NurseLeaders #BairdGroup
