Some art speak for you. Today, I wanted to share my analytical chops. I am very serious about my art. It is work. Here is my academic breakdown of this new piece, "What Is Love." 36 x 60 mixed media on wood panel. This artwork features a bold, expressive composition combining text and vibrant colors. The central phrase, "YOUR MESS IS MINE," is prominently displayed in thick, black letters, contrasting sharply against a chaotic background of bright greens, pinks, yellows, and blues. The background is a mix of paint splatters, layered textures, and abstract shapes, creating a sense of movement and energy. Different colors and styles suggest a playful yet confrontational tone, inviting viewers to reflect on themes of ownership, chaos, and connection. The layering of materials and the rough texture of the surface add depth and intrigue, making the piece visually engaging. Themes and Interpretation 1. Ownership and Connection: The phrase suggests a shared experience or burden, hinting that what one person sees as a mess can also be embraced by another, sparking a thought-provoking reflection on human connection. 2. Chaos and Creativity: The vibrant background reflects that creativity often arises from chaos, encouraging viewers to find beauty in disorder. 3. Personal Expression: The raw and unrefined nature of the artwork speaks to authenticity and the importance of expressing one's feelings and experiences. Ultimately, this piece beckons viewers to delve into its message and ponder their own interpretations of the complexities we share in life. #mgstoutart #fortlauderdale #outsiderart #brut #paintingexplained #playbasedlearning #innerchild #community #originalart #saatchiartist #singularartofficial #artconnectsus #

🎨 Art and Emotion: How My Feelings Shape My Art 🎭 Art is more than just colors on a canvas—it's a reflection of my inner world. Every brushstroke, every shade, and every composition in my work is infused with emotion. My personal experiences, whether joyful or challenging, find their way into my art, turning feelings into visual narratives. When I paint, I don't just create a picture—I tell a story. It's a journey through my memories, dreams, and emotions, each piece a unique chapter. The canvas becomes a safe space to explore and express what words sometimes cannot. Art, for me, is both a mirror and a window—a mirror reflecting my inner self and a window offering others a glimpse into my world. It's a powerful reminder that emotions, no matter how complex, can be transformed into something beautiful and meaningful. 🔗 Join me in this journey of self-discovery through art. Ever wondered why some artwork leaves a lasting impression while others fade from memory? The true essence of art lies not in the mere visual representation, but in the depth of emotions and perspectives it evokes within the viewer. A masterpiece is not defined by its technical brilliance alone, but by its ability to captivate the beholder's imagination and ignite their thoughts. Great artists possess the power to sculpt perceptions, shaping the way we interpret the world around us. Their creations transcend the boundaries of canvas or stone, inviting us to embark on a journey of self-discovery and introspection. It's not about what you see, but what you make others see – a world through your unique lens, a reflection of your inner vision. Art is a catalyst for connection, bridging the gap between the artist's intent and the viewer's interpretation, creating a shared experience that resonates long after the initial encounter. So, the next time you find yourself captivated by a work of art, pause and ponder – what is it that truly speaks to you? What emotions does it evoke? What stories does it unveil? For in that moment, you become an active participant in the creative process, co-creating the narrative with the artist. Art is not a passive endeavor; it's a dialogue, a profound exchange that enriches both the creator and the observer. Embrace the power to shape perceptions, and let your interpretation breathe life into the artist's vision. “Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent. And don’t bother concealing your thievery - celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: “It’s not where you take things from - it’s where you take them to." ― Jim Jarmusch [MovieMaker Magazine #53 - Winter, January 22, 2004 ] Basically everything we create comes from bits and pieces of what we've seen, heard, or experienced. It's okay to "steal" inspiration from things that make you feel excited or spark your imagination, like movies, music, art, or even random conversations and nature. The key is to take those influences and make something that feels true to you—something authentic. Originality isn’t about coming up with something completely new that’s never existed before; it’s about making something your own by mixing the ideas and inspirations that resonate with you. It’s not about hiding where your ideas come from, but about focusing on what you do with them—how you shape and change them to create something meaningful. #theartofdesign #stateofart #graphics #design #graphicdesign #ai #inspiration #art #thefutureofdesign

The Power of Process in Abstract Art As an artist, the process of creating is just as important—if not more so—than the finished piece. Abstract art, in particular, demands vulnerability, intuition, and a willingness to let go of control. Each brushstroke becomes a dialogue between emotion and expression, revealing layers of thought and energy that evolve over time. Sharing this process is my way of inviting you into the story behind the art. It’s not about perfection; it’s about exploration, connection, and transformation. Check out this process video to see how the work takes shape—one intentional movement at a time. For me, it’s a reminder that beauty lies not in the result but in the journey of creation itself. What part of the creative process inspires you most in your work? I’d love to hear your thoughts. Feeling centered - As a ceramic artist, this concept resonates with me. It's interesting that when I'm at the pottery wheel and I try to center a pot, it matters if I'm feeling centered as well. Often, if I'm distracted and unable to focus, I have trouble centering the pots. Other days, when I'm fully present and focused, centering comes easily. This also applies to us when we are being creative. It's useful to develop mental "centering" rituals that can help us get into what Mihaly Csiksentmihalyi talks about in his book, "Flow," the state where time stands still and you feel incredibly creative and effective. This can be developed and we can get better at it, just like anything we do. The more we do it, the easier it gets. #amendcoaching #creativemaintenance #creativitycoaching #lifecoaching #creativity

📌 DO YOU KNOW HOW TO LOOK AT A WORK OF ART? When one is in front of a work of art, one must first look at it 'with the belly', i.e. be guided by one's emotions and make contact beyond the visual. But then? Then one moves on to a reading, i.e. one pauses to analyse the intrinsic elements, looking at certain categories: -The linear vision, i.e. drawing; -The pictorial vision expressed directly by colour; -The superficial vision, i.e. one dwells exclusively on the figures; -Depth vision, i.e. the analysis of different planes and how space is represented; All these elements, combined with many others, serve to thoroughly read a work of art. And you, which method do you use to read the work of art in front of you? #artmarket #artinvestment #passionasset

Abstract art looks easy, right? But it’s so much harder than it seems. Here are 3 things I’ve learned as an abstract artist: 1. It’s not random.. it takes thought. • Every line and colour has meaning. • It can seem like chaos to some, but it’s carefully planned. 2. It focuses on emotion. • Abstract art speaks to the soul. • It connects with people in ways words never could. 3. Mistakes make it better. • Imperfections add charm and uniqueness. • Experimenting creates the most surprising results. ♻️ Repost to bring some colours and joy into your LinkedIn feed. What story does my artwork Toy Collection 01 tell you? What do you see?
