For those curious about the problem statement our team will tackle during the 36-hour Hackathon, it’s provided by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj and titled as "Gamification for Rural Planning using Drone Land Survey Maps and GIS Data." Here's a quick summary: The objective is to design a gamified platform that aids in creating Gram Panchayat Development Plans (GPDP), enabling users to simulate and plan development activities for villages using 3D visualization, GIS data, and drone survey maps. This virtual environment empowers users (villagers/youth) to allocate resources efficiently while planning critical infrastructure such as roads, drainage, streetlights, and more. The game also factors in budget estimations, resource allocation, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to ensure practical and impactful village development plans. Imagine a ‘Farmville-like’ experience, but for real-world village development, fostering engagement and innovation in grassroots planning! #sih2024

5+ Years of Building Connections & Gaining Global Exposure at IHGF Delhi Fair ✨️ For over five years now, I’ve been setting up my own stall as an Exhibitor at the IHGF Delhi Fair—one of the largest stages for meeting domestic and international buyers. Starting out, I never imagined the depth of experiences I’d gain: from negotiating orders to learning about different cultures, each fair has been a new chapter filled with challenges, surprises, and unforgettable interactions. What’s been truly amazing is seeing how much these interactions shape you. Every conversation and even the quiet moments observing the hustle and bustle of the fair have been building blocks in my journey, giving me insights far beyond textbooks. Now, in my third year of college, it feels incredible to have such hands-on exposure to the world of business at such a large scale. IHGF isn’t just a fair to me; it’s a learning ground where I continue to grow, make connections, and witness the impact of our products on a global audience. Excited for the future and grateful for the journey! 😇 #ihgfdelhifair #exhibitorlife #learningthroughexperience #globalexposure #buildingconnections #youngentrepreneurship #passionandpurpose #growthmindset #grateful

One advantage of being born in India is one sees up close the value of grit, determination and resilience but very rarely is one exposed to arts and culture in an engaging manner thus reducing our creativity. Now in the digital age it’s becoming even more difficult for us to appreciate deeply things which do not have any tangible benefits. Hopefully we can develop the ability to find joy and levity in the little things like when we were young adults while balancing the rigours of engineering and medical exam prep.

It was an incredible experience participating in our first 24-hour hackathon at Government polytechnic, nagpur! 🤩 Throughout the event, our team showed immense coordination and resilience, coding non-stop to bring our idea to life. Reflecting on the journey, here are a few key takeaways that we learned along the way: 1. We chose an idea that wasn’t as unique compared to similar pre-existing solutions from the provided list and, unfortunately, didn’t plan thoroughly in advance. This kind of limited our ability to stand out. 2. A last-minute switch to a new idea the day before the hackathon also added to our challenge. Our initial idea felt too complex to implement within the time constraints, so we pivoted to a simpler concept which I mentioned above. 3. We spent some precious time on minor details and aimed to build a complete solution rather than focusing on a functional prototype. In hindsight, building a strong prototype might have been a more efficient use of our time. These valuable lessons have taught us so much about time management and strategic planning in a high-pressure environment. A huge shoutout to Ishad Pande, a skilled designer, and my fellow developers Krushna Sakhare and Shiwang Pandey, both incredible full-stack developers. I handled the back-end responsibilities, contributing to our collective effort and learning experience. I’m excited to participate in more hackathons and push the boundaries further! 😁
Attended the hackathon at Government Polytechnic, Nagpur, Maharashtra was an incredible experience! Being surrounded by a passionate, competitive environment was both inspiring and energizing. I teamed up with my friends Shiwang Pandey, Priyanshu Ganatra, and Ishad Pande, and together, we pushed our limits and executed our ideas with precision. While we didn’t come away with a win, the journey was full of growth, teamwork, and innovation. I’m grateful for the learning, the collaboration, and the opportunity to be part of such a dynamic event. Looking forward to more experiences like this !!

Embracing Change and Letting Go: Reflections from Ganesha Visarjan As Ganesha Visarjan marks the farewell of Lord Ganesha, it's a powerful reminder of the cycles of life – welcoming new beginnings and gracefully letting go when the time comes. This tradition teaches us valuable lessons not only in spirituality but also in our personal and professional lives. Just as we celebrate Ganesha’s arrival with joy, we should embrace the opportunities and projects that come our way with enthusiasm. And when it’s time to let go, whether of an idea, a strategy, or even a challenge, doing so with grace allows room for growth and new possibilities. The essence of letting go is not about giving up; it’s about moving forward with confidence, trusting the process, and making space for what’s next. Whether it’s navigating a career change or adapting to new technologies, learning to release is key to evolving and thriving. Wishing everyone a joyful and reflective Ganesha Visarjan. May we carry forward the wisdom of adaptability and resilience. #GaneshaVisarjan #NewBeginnings #LettingGo #Adaptability #Resilience #LeadershipLessons
