Merseyside Police’s Post

Merseyside Police reposted this

Our #ProjectServator officers are working closely with Ministry of Defence Police colleagues while the Royal Navy's largest aircraft carrier, HMS Prince of Wales, is docked in Liverpool. If you see armed officers near the ship or river patrols, don't be alarmed. We use a variety of tactics as part of the ship's security operation, including these highly visible specialist teams on land and water, and less visible measures such plain-clothes officers and links into Liverpool City Council's Citywatch CCTV system.
