This! Speaking poorly about your competition speaks more about you as a company than them. Be mindful of this “disease” within your company’s culture before it becomes an issue. You’re not fooling anyone. Since day one, PWI has shared this mindset with me and flipped my mindset from “us vs them” to “what else can we offer” beyond the scope of the project. “Steel is steel, anyone could do it.”What we want to do is “nurture” a lifelong relationship and trust with our customer to create an experience they won’t find elsewhere. Most of the competition in our industry does great work with years of experience and knowledge. We appreciate them because it drives us to become better and invent improved processes and solutions. Staying stagnant is another disease that kills company growth and the industry growth. We need each other!
