"9 ATHLETES. 8 TEAMS. 1MISSION. 1LOVE." November 28, 2024 — This season, MXM is proud to announce that 9 athletes from 8 different teams across the National Football League (NFL) chose to represent our mission & moveMENt on the field as part of this year’s "My Cause, My Cleats" campaign. What started with 1Athlete last year has grown into a powerful moveMENt, proving that our message resonates far beyond the locker room. These athletes are more than just players, assets, or items — they are advocates, leaders, & a true testaMENt to the importance of prioritizing #MENtalHealth in every aspect of life. We are incredibly grateful for each of these incredible individuals' support & for helping us break down barriers, normalize conversations, & remind everyone watching that they're not alone. Stay tuned for more as we continue this journey, & to the special men who chose to stand with us this season — thank you. You are all more than just athletes & your impact(s) span far beyond just the game. KEEP GOING! #1Love 🖤

🌟 Embrace Fearlessness in Soccer 🌟 At the ACC Elite x Beast Mode Soccer camp in Virginia, I had the opportunity to share a vital message with our talented players: Play without fear. Often, young athletes play it safe, burdened by the fear of letting down coaches, teammates, or parents. This fear, rooted in ancient survival instincts, no longer serves us in the modern game. Fear was meant to protect us from dangers, but on the soccer field, it becomes a barrier. Too many players wait until their 20s or 30s to overcome this fear and truly excel. My message to our players was clear: start now. Be brave, take risks, and play freely. The most successful athletes are those who can conquer their fears and let their talents shine. At Beast Mode Soccer, we believe in developing not just technical skills, but also the mental strength to play confidently and fearlessly. Let’s encourage our youth to embrace this mindset and reach their full potential. #BeastModeSoccer #PlayWithoutFear #SoccerDevelopment #YouthAthletics #DavidCopelandSmith #ACCEliteCamp #LeadershipInSport #SoccerMindset #PlayerDevelopment

Having grown up in the Larry Bird era, at my grandfather’s knee as he watched the TV broadcast of Boston Celtics games with Johnny Most’s radio call popping and fizzing out of his AM radio (the radio call is always better), I am a lifelong Green Bleeder. Even with the Sox and Pats’ success over the past 20+ years, the C’s have always been my favorite hometown team. And while there’s plenty to celebrate any time a team you care about wins a championship, I find myself feeling both notably proud and tangibly inspired by two particular facets of this squad: 1. Their resilience/willingness to learn from past failures, to grow, adapt, and achieve. Especially after last season’s ugly exit and a subsequent roster re-boot. And 2. The construction and composition of this roster, proof that combining players that FIT together, compliment one another, and bring team-oriented intangibles delivers more long-term value, especially in challenging situations, than the “Superstar Stacking/Big Three” approach. They are, in every sense, a true “team”, not unlike their mid-80s forebears. Many lessons to be learned here, personal and professional, to be sure. Which is always an important upside of the occasional absurdity of sports fandom. Bring on the duck boats…again! #teamwork #leadership #softskills #fit #bleedgreen #banner18 #nbafinals

This…. “It's not the basketball. It's the people I get to spend it with." Clark spoke so poignantly about the value of her teammates and relationships as what she valued most, saying "championships are great...but you want to have really good relationships with people at the end of the day." Caitlin Clark’s words truly resonate with the essence of sports and life. It’s inspiring to see how she values relationships and the human connections formed through sports. Our Athletes Better Together initiative aligns perfectly with this philosophy. Basketball. It isn't just a game of shooting hoops or executing dazzling slam dunks. It's a reflection of our grit, our strategic prowess, and our unwavering commitment to teamwork. Yet, the recent past has brought a challenging season for this beloved sport. The loss of iconic figures has left a void. The pandemic has disrupted our cherished routines, altering the game's rhythm in ways unimaginable. But, the echoes of dribbling balls and roaring crowds still reverberate in our hearts. Like the game itself, we've faced adversity, stood tall, and fought back. We've learned that, sometimes, the game isn't about winning or losing, it's about resilience. This phase is but a temporary pause, a tough defense we need to penetrate. Just as a team regroups after a challenging quarter, we too shall bounce back. The courts will buzz again. The joy, the camaraderie, the thrill – will all return. Here's to resilience. Here's to hope. Here's to the game that teaches us so much. Here's to Basketball. #Basketball #Resilience #Hope #Sports.

Teammate’s Trust: Building Bonds Beyond the Field Acts of Kindness: Fueling Soccer's Soul. 12-3-24, Day 5. PLAYER & TEAMMATE Soccer isn’t just about the goals scored or the victories celebrated—it’s about the bonds built along the way. A teammate isn’t just someone who shares the field with you; they’re your equal, someone who understands the highs and lows of the game because they’re living it with you. Think about the moments when teammates show up for each other: offering a hand after a tough tackle, sharing a laugh to lighten the pressure, or giving a heartfelt “you’ve got this” before a direct kick. These acts of trust and connection turn a group of players into something greater—a team united by kindness, respect, and shared purpose. What moment of trust or connection with a teammate has stuck with you? Share the stories where a teammate’s kindness made the game more than just a competition—it became a shared journey of growth and camaraderie. Footy4MySoul celebrates these bonds and their impact on and off the field. Stay tuned for stories and episodes where we explore the power of teamwork and trust in soccer. Uplifted by this? Many elite athletes face challenges transitioning from the sports arena to everyday life. The Undertaker's recent revelation sheds light on the anxiety experienced by athletes at live events. It's not uncommon for retired athletes to struggle with the shift, missing their routine, comradery, and the thrill of competition. The journey from a sports-centric lifestyle to a more conventional one is often unspoken but arduous. Many athletes, including my former teammates and competitors, grapple with anxiety when returning to familiar grounds like ice rinks after years away. It's essential to acknowledge these struggles, and the Undertaker's candidness serves as a reminder that even icons face these challenges. Let's continue this conversation on supporting athletes in their post-sports endeavors. #sports #entertainment #liveevents Read more: [Link to the Undertaker's story]

Absolutely incredible to see 9 athletes from 8 NFL teams representing mental health through the #MyCauseMyCleats campaign. This growing moveMENt shows how prioritizing #MENtalHealth resonates far beyond the locker room. Together, we’re normalizing conversations, breaking barriers, and reminding everyone that they’re not alone. I’d love to explore ways we can collaborate to amplify this message even further — whether through Web3 tools for transparency and funding or other creative initiatives. Let’s keep going and building this powerful moveMENt together!"
