A Year in TIME and a year for reflection.
So grateful to be celebrating 1 year at TIME. ✨
It’s been a remarkable year at this company, and I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to be part of such a incredible team. I can’t express enough how thankful I am for the amazing people, inspiring leadership, and the experiences that have shaped my journey here so far.
Some of my favorite highlights over the year!

I love to share this post from the CEO of KraftHeinz. First of all, I find his openess in sharing his views and thoughts refreshing. Second, I find his view on learning from companies outside his own industry most interesting. Also because he is sharing his view with the outside world.
I agree that connecting with- and learning from other industries is wise.
In my work as area manager for the spirits beverage company Bols Int. I have learned a lot from my Spanish and Italian distributors. Concerning communication with others, influencing, management, negotiations, care for other cultures.
Also discussing vision/mission on C-level.
And I learned from my former Swedish Marketing Sales Director Mats Walberg, to also expand your network outside your own industry.
To, indeed, get different perspectives and ideas regarding your own business.
To find new growth in your business, do things differently. Don’t copy the competition. Look outside your branche.
Chief Executive Officer at The Kraft Heinz Company
Last week, I had the privilege of attending 📍 Harvard Business School's New CEO Workshop, where I spent time with a small group of new CEOs from all different industries and countries. Despite having very different businesses, we face many of the same challenges and we learned so much from one another.
During the workshop, we had the privilege of hearing from amazing leadership experts Hubert Joly, Bill George, Amy Edmondson, Nitin Nohria and Mihir Desai. They shared a wealth of knowledge and experience with us (they also have incredible books I recommend reading!).
At Kraft Heinz, we talk about the importance of continued learning and staying curious, no matter where you are in your career journey. We are organizationally committed to a growth mindset, and that includes me. I’m grateful and better for it!
Feeling tired and like you're not doing a good job? 😞
Join the leadership club. Leadership doesn't mean we can be "on" every day.
If it's not an "on" day: learn to zoom out and look at the big picture.
What have you already achieved? A huge amount of progress, most likely. Even in the last year. Progress matters. 💡
Drop your prerequisites for worthiness. "I'll be good enough when I...(achieve something in the future)". You're fully worthy and whole, right now. All humans are. 💚
Recharge. 🛏️ It's a necessity, not a luxury. To do that, you may need to delegate what's drains your energy or isn't your strengths.
And most importantly: celebrate small wins. Little victories and really noticing them is fuel for us each day.
Resilience = perspective and gratitude, for our own history and journey. It starts with self-support.
Earlier this year at our annual leadership retreat we learned that a strong personal brand can help you attract the right people, land a job or promotion, and make connections that lead to new opportunities. With reflection and intentional actions, you can gain confidence in your personal value and project it in your life and career.
Find your personal brand then live by it every day not just on paper or behind closed doors. It never ends and is constantly evolving like we are. 🙂
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳𝗳?
We’ve all had that one thing we know we should be doing, but we keep putting it off.
Maybe it’s enrolling in a leadership course, tackling a difficult conversation, or just taking the next step in our career.
I’ve seen too many talented managers wait and wait...until they miss out on promotions or opportunities.
If you’ve been procrastinating, here’s how to break the cycle:
𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲: What’s the one task you’ve been avoiding?
𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: Block it on your calendar and get it done.
𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹: Take one step today. It doesn’t have to be big—it just has to move you forward.
𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲: Even the smallest wins are worth celebrating.
What’s holding you back, and can you commit to tackling it today?

This leadership development subject takes a different approach. Instead of learning from books, we learn from the perspective of a leader himself, Ir Dr Shahreen Madros, who has a vibrant background in the oil and gas industry as well as government agencies.

How did you grow your career into a leadership role? According to a recent post by one of our users, the answer is simple: show more value to what you do. This means hustling, pushing boundaries, and always trying to do more for the company than required. By going above and beyond, you become more valuable to your organization and can position yourself for a leadership role. So, if you want to advance your career, remember to focus on delivering more value in everything you do.
Leading people is the most challenging job out there.
That’s why its also the most fulfilling job.
Doesn’t get much better than:
- Watching an inside sales team you recruited become best friends.
- Helping someone make their first sale while their heart is racing.
- Promoting someone to a role they worked their tail off for.
- Offering someone their dream job of working in sports.
- Your mentee landing their first leadership role.
People are complex, emotional, and ever changing.
That’s what makes these even more rewarding.
