Last week I attended the Engage Business Media Future of Work conference, a fantastic day with plenty of thought-provoking content, great advice and best practice, and also meeting and making great connections 📈 Some of the key takeaways for me from the day were; 🙋🏻♀️ The importance of putting humans at the centre of transformation programmes, and the impact this has on the success of the programmes. Listen to your people, engage them in the process and get them on board! ❤️ How prioritising emotional intelligence can have a direct link to reducing employee turnover rates and increasing engagement levels. 🤖 How businesses should be focusing on making AI work to accelerate employee engagement, upskill your people and fulfil your digital strategies! 🗣️ It was really interesting to to hear from IC and HR professionals from a number of organisations including MasterCard, The Home Office, Burberry and BUPA on what challenges they’ve faced, how they’ve overcome them and what the future looks like for them. 🛍️ I also got the opportunity to speak to and connect with suppliers across the industry including Simpplr, CoCentric and YunoJuno. 📃 All in all - a very interesting informative day and I’m so excited and driven to share these best practices in my own comms and engagement plans! 📆 I’m already looking forward to next year’s Employee Engagement Summit!
