In case you missed it - I wanted to share a new computing platform, Camber, that I think has the potential to revolutionize scientific workflows. Camber allows scientists to effortlessly manage massive datasets with the power of cloud computing, harnessing both CPUs & GPUs. In my own work, I’ve been leveraging Camber’s managed version of MESA to conduct extensive parameter sweeps. Imagine running hundreds of stellar models simultaneously, all on-demand, and getting results in mere minutes. The real-time analysis of outputs has been a game-changer. What’s even more exciting is the flexibility Camber offers. You can easily tweak your numerical solver .f90 files, inlists, opacity tables, and more. And if you ever hit a snag, the Camber team is available to help troubleshoot and adapt the science engine to fit new and unique use cases. Check out their MESA demo: https://lnkd.in/eFy9qaic Or feel free to message me directly and I can intro you to the Camber team. https://lnkd.in/e6XQXHAz
