Just a little nudge for anyone who has recently switched gears career-wise: have a quick look at your LinkedIn banner image. I've noticed quite a few profiles still rocking banners from past roles. It’s a quick fix that can make a difference. :) Taking it one step further: Your LinkedIn page is YOUR personal billboard, and the banner image is one of the first things visitors notice. Instead of dedicating that prime real estate to a company logo, consider how you can use it to express your unique professional identity. This is one of my favorite photos. This is a photo of me crossing the finish line of my first ultramarathon back in 2016. I stare at this photo any time I need to be reminded that I can do hard things - any time I need to be brought back to that moment.   That was a moment filled with overwhelming pride and elation and gratitude. That moment represented so much for me. It represented me pushing myself to accomplish something I had been told would not be possible. It represented a 2-year journey going from being bedridden and in a wheelchair to learning how to walk again. It represented me defying what the doctors had told me: that even once I was able to walk again, running might not be in the cards for me. It serves to remind me that I can accomplish anything I set my mind, attention, and effort towards. Even if it seems impossible. I can persevere through the hard things. If I had just accepted the notion that a 50k was impossible for me, I would have never had the moment captured in this photograph.   As many of us navigate this challenging job market, we need to be reminded that we can do hard things. We have the determination, attention, and effort to push through this difficult time and land our next job.   For those heading to #CPExpo with uncertainty, know that I will be right there with you. Let’s walk those halls wearing our readiness and availability like a badge of honor. For it shows that we are ready to drive impact and benefit our next company with the skills, expertise, and value we bring. If you need a wingwoman for an event or to work a room, shoot me a message! And I am excited to see and hug so many incredible people who always lift me up and put a huge smile on my face (and I hope I do the same for them). I can't wait to share the stage with Tamara, Kathy, Khali, to spend time polishing a project with the always impressive (and well-dressed) Ronnell, to geek out at The Sphere with Travis, Joshua, and to get some time to catch up with Richard, Thomas, Aaron, Allison, Kelli, Jo, Christy, and others to see how they're continuing to take the channel by storm. Crossing the finish line isn't just about reaching an endpoint—it's about the journey, the growth, and the unyielding belief in our own potential.

What an AMAZING Channel Partners Conference and Expo it was last week! My feet were tired. My voice was gone. My clothes smelled like a casino. And I needed two full days of sleep to recover. BUT! It was all worth it as I spent four days: 🤗 Hugging (and enjoying tequila with) so many old friends and partners 🤝 Meeting new partners and colleagues 💡Collaborating with today’s top female marketing leaders during our CMO roundtable (shoutout to Allison Bergamo for bringing us together) 🗣️ Taking the stage with Ronnell, Travis, and Eric to speak about “Humanizing Your Brand Through LinkedIn” and Allison, Mayka, and Rebecca on “Driving Equity and Empowering Female Leadership” 👸🏻 #Fempire - no explanation needed for the magic Cassandra and Autum Grimm have created 😁 Holding a 3’ cutout of my face and making ALL of you take a picture with it 🚨 AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, kicking off my career at #cybersecurity #powerhouse Xcitium!
