When you're working towards a specific goal there's a way to create a plan that will actually get you there.
You can turn your perceived obstacles into actions to create a solid plan that will build the skills required to get there.
Here's how you do it - watch the video below!
If you want to find out more or work on this together make sure to book a free consultation here - I'd love to help you.
Good morning. Hope you're having a lovely start to the day. So yesterday I ran a free workshop all about how to create your 2025 vision and the plan that will create your goals. So we did an interactive workshop live on Zoom, and part of that workshop was about how to kind of troubleshoot your action plan for next year. How do you go from setting a goal to actually figuring out what are the daily and the weekly and the monthly actions that I need to be taking? Towards that goal, the simplest way that I have and that I can share with you on how that works best is this exercise I'm going to share with you. So if you want more detail on this, if you want more support in this, please do reach out and ask me. I would love to spend some time figuring it out with you. But if you don't have time to do that, then just watch this because I'm going to break down at exactly how it works so you can take this away and apply it to your 2025. So the exercise that I took everybody through. Is called obstacle planning. So what you do is once you've set your goal, you're. And I like to use revenue goals because they're really tangible and they are just a very solid result that you can't argue with So take your revenue goal for next year and then I want you to imagine all of the reasons why you cannot do it So what happens when we set a goal or proclaim an intention and then put a time against it it immediately forces your brain into thinking about. Achieving it, when your brain does this, it will naturally bring up all of the reasons why you can't do it. That's just how it's wired. It's how human beings are wired to think. But the beauty of this is that it will look for the problems, it will look for the risks, it will look for the dangers, it will look for the obstacles. And when you get all of those down on a piece of paper, you can then start to troubleshoot each one. So I'm going to give you an example. This is going to be helpful for you to kind of. Cement in to see what I mean with this. For example if you have made 10K this year and next year you would like to make 50K and when you think about 50K in a 12 month period your brain offers you this. I don't have enough people in my audience. My my offer isn't priced high enough for this. I'd have to sell to too many people. And I don't, I, I don't know how to do that. I'd have to sell to say. 50 people and I've only ever sold to 10 people for example. When your brain gives you these problems or perceived obstacles, the next step. So firstly, get them all out. Oh, another one that came up on the call yesterday was. Imposter syndrome is really stops me in my tracks. So get all of the things out and now look at each one and ask yourself this question. If I were to solve this, what would I do if this weren't to be a problem anymore? How could I solve this thing? So the first one, for example, I don't have enough people in my audience. Then the action is grow my audience. That's basically creating another goal for you. So I want to create if I've got 100 people in my audience and I want to get to 1000, it will send your brain into troubleshooting and problem solving instead of sitting in and hear all the reasons why I can't do it, which is very disempowering and very unmotivating for you to get into action. So turning each one of these problems into a mini goal. So number one could be grow my audience. Great. So now you know, OK, I want to grow my audience. And this to that, let's get to it. Let's find people who know how to do this. Let's research how to do this. Let's try some different tactics. Let's attempt like 3 strategies to grow my audience. It gets you into action taking verses not action taking the second one. I can't remember what I said now. Ohh. The changing their prices. So when you look at your goal and you look at your current offers and what your pricing them at, sometimes there might be a disconnect sometimes. Might be OK. I would need to do so much volume in this that the price doesn't make sense. So then you know that the goal of the action that you need to take is OK, I need to raise my prices. What price would make sense to hit my revenue goal? And there within that is going to be all the work that you need to do because to raise your prices, you need to see the value of the results you provide. You need to be very, very sure and very certain of those. So you can sell well, so you know that your gap or what you need to work on, the skill you need to work on will be that it will be believing more in the value, practicing communicating the value, learning how to sell really well on sales calls. And then from that you can go find people to help you with those specific skills. It's all about taking something that seems really big and vague and breaking it down into a specific action. That you can take a specific next step for you that your brain can get on board with, that your brain can agree this is the next best step for me to do. So I'm gonna go and do that. I'm gonna go find somebody who has done this before. I'm gonna go read a book or listen to a podcast or make up a plan for the next three months of how I'm going to grow this specific skill. It turns everything into action, which is what I love, because this will grow your skill sets. This will be the. Path for you specifically, it's not, it's not a one-size-fits-all. It has to be specific to your where you are. Otherwise it's not the way for you. So this is the power of it. So when I hear business coaches and I have lots of business coach friends, I have a lot of a big network and lots of speech chat and we share things and, and they have different processes. What I love about this is that it's very specific to you individually. Because your thoughts, your approach of why you can't reach a goal is unique to you. So it's there's gonna be unique path that will create in you the skill sets that will make help you make money. And the usual skill sets will help you make money. Just the basics are finding enough people to speak to. So that's growing your audience and feeling really confident in your offer, making sure that you're speaking to enough people about your offer and then learning to sell really well. Those are the things that are the basics that. I would give anybody who was asking me like if you're first starting your business, those are the things to focus on and everything else you don't have to worry about until the next level until you've made six figures and you need to have more support and structure and systems before 6 figures. Those are the most important factors. So get help with those things specifically. OK, if you want to listen to the full recording, send me a message, I'd be more than happy to send it over to you. So you can take some time in between now and January to really plan this and really get clear on your plan for next year. If you want additional help then book a consultation call because I do offer free hour consultation calls. Obviously next week I am I am off work from Friday, but you can get something in for the new year. I would love to discuss this with you and see how I can support you. And see if there might be an offer that would work for you to reach your goals. So I will leave the link in the comments. And if we don't see you before then, haven't we? Wonderful Christmas and new year bye.
