Curious how you can convert website prowlers and social media stalkers into loyal customers? It's not by doubling down on promoting yourself (we get it, you're mom said you're the best, and no one can tell you otherwise). In fact, it's the opposite. You need to transition from promoting your brand to nurturing your audience through educational content until they're ready to buy. Simply put, educate your audience on: 1. Why they have a problem 2. Why this problem is more problematic than they think 3. How your solution solves this problem Besides, why would a prospective consumer come to you for a solution if they're not even aware of their actual problem? ***To be clear, this is not an opportunity to make false claims. Compliance is key.*** However, this is your opportunity to: -Build trust -Build relationships -Optimize engagement & retention -And stay on top of your audiences' minds (& inboxes) This doesn't have to be rocket science—just something that is useful and not too time-consuming for your prospective consumer. (Cause let's face it, if it's not scrollable, ain't nobody got time for that!) Want to know an effective way to give your audience an accelerated college degree in your brand's solutions? Through Educational Email Campaigns. (duh) You slide into their inbox over the course of a few days, drop some knowledge, establish your expertise, foster sustained contact and trust, and... BAM! You've just converted that social media stalker into an INFORMED and LOYAL customer. Best part: you did it all on autopilot. *steps down from soapbox* OK, that's enough of my rant for today—but I'll be back soon with more deets on Educational Email Campaigns. Social media is great, but it's fickle. Newsletters are different. They're your own space to connect directly with your most engaged fans. Here's why you need one, and how to make it epic: 1. Escape the Algorithm's Grip: - Land directly in inboxes, not lost news feeds. - Newsletters give you control over who sees your content, every single time. 2. Build True Fans, Not Just Followers: - Newsletters foster deeper connections. - Engage with your audience, personalize emails, and ask questions. - They'll feel valued, not just another number. 3. Data-Driven Insights, Not Guesswork: - Newsletters unlock valuable data about your audience. - Use surveys and quizzes to understand their needs and desires. - No more creating products no one wants. 4. Craft Offers Your Audience ACTUALLY Craves: - Stop blindly guessing at what people want. - Use subscriber feedback to create irresistible offers that solve their problems. 5. Convert on Autopilot (Almost): - Automate a nurturing email sequence that educates, builds trust, and gently nudges leads toward becoming paying clients. 24/7 sales team? Yes, please! Pro Tip: Subject Lines Matter! - Make them snappy, benefit-driven, and intriguing (40-50 characters). - Avoid sounding spammy. Ready to ditch the algorithm and build a loyal following? 1. Craft a Lead Magnet: Offer a freebie (e-book, cheat sheet, etc.) to capture email addresses. Link to your landing page in your social media bio! 2. Personalize & Engage: Use subscriber names, ask questions, and encourage conversation. Your audience is the star, not you. 3. Track & Improve: Monitor email metrics like open rates and click-throughs. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement. 4. Automate Your Sales: Craft a nurturing email sequence that warms up leads and positions you as an authority. This is your secret weapon! Newsletters are a game-changer for solopreneurs! What if you could have your own personal social media platform to speak freely to your audience without the risk of getting banned, and your entire customer base being pulled out from under you? Well, you can… It’s called ✨Email Marketing✨ You may have heard of it. As a cannabis business owner, you cannot afford to rely solely on social media to stay in touch with your audience. Social media marketing is extremely important in maintaining brand familiarity and interacting with your audience in comments and dm’s. But it’s unpredictable. You should constantly be funneling your followers to your email signup forms. In fact, your social media and email strategies should work together - continuously turning followers into subscribers, and subscribers into followers. More points of contact means more chances to engage your audience (and reduces the sting if one of those points of contact is taken away). You should be promoting your email list everywhere: 👉 Online 👉 In your lobby 👉 At the checkout counter 👉 Train receptionists/budtenders to talk about it Once they’re signed up, you can start gathering/using customer data to create a personalized experience for your subscribers that keeps them engaged, and makes sales while you sleep. If your brand’s social media accounts have been suspended, banned, or if you’re worried it’s gonna happen soon, check out my free newsletter, High On Marketing, in my bio and featured section. Every Monday I give you tips and tricks for building a personalized, customer-focused marketing strategy for your cannabis dispensary. 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐄𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐞? I see so many online businesses making Facebook and Instagram the primary focus of their marketing efforts. They'll hire editors to make these peppy reels with the quirky music... post 7 stories in a day on Instagram... and spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars on ad spend. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on social. I think it's brilliant for the visual aspects of marketing your business, creating a sense of community around your brand, and positioning yourself in the marketplace. Needless to say, social is great for the "front-end" side of things. However, there's a super undervalued asset that so many businesses, even to this day continue to put on the backburner - or worse, flat-out ignore. And that is Your Email List. (: See, having an email list gives you the chance not just to deepen your bond with your community... but also stay on top of mind and build KLT by telling amazing stories that demonstrate your personality and the potency of your offers... educate your audience about certain game-changing aspects of your products/services... and help them overcome their limiting beliefs tied to taking you on on your offers! Plus since email is a more intimate, one-on-one style medium of communication... you can talk to your potential customers without having them get distracted like they would by a post or DM from other brands showing up on their feeds or discover page (bummer). And here's the BIG one- With email, you can say exactly what you want without having to water down your sales message like you'd have to if you were running ads or trying to growth-hack your YouTube or Instagram! Why? Because with email, you don't have a nagging algorithm trying to censor you... curb your reach... shadow ban, or worse, cancel you any time you said something that didn't align with their "community guidelines". With email you can be raw, say your message like it is without the PG 13 bs, and deepen your relationship with your audience so they buy from you again, and again, and again! (did someone say customer retention? :) If you're running a business trying to sell a great product or service, your email list is a powerful marketing tool. A potent asset. Do NOT ignore it. 🙂

You shouldn't be everywhere to try and reach your clients. I feel like a broken record sometimes but more often than not, I'm telling clients that they don't need to be on every single platform in order to make sales. In fact, if you're not making sales from any of your marketing on social media right now, adding more platforms is not going to help. Why? Because you're focusing on the wrong thing. Instead of worrying about putting out content that's going to educate and inform your audience about what you do and why they need to work with you, you're focused on where to find them and pressuring yourself to be in the right place. Although being in the right place is a part of it, we're all on so many different plaforms that you're more than likely going to reach them if you were to pick even one to focus on. The actual thing you should be focusing on is what you're thinking when you're writing content. If you're thinking about how you can help your audience, what they're struggling with, educating them on what solutions are out there, etc. then you're going to find success with your marketing. It doesn't matter where you are or how many platforms you're doing it on, you're going to make sales. And not just any sales, but sales with your DREAM clients. Clients who are excited to work with you just as much as you are to work with them. All with the knowledge that you have a huge weight off your shoulders because you're not making your marketing harder than it needs to be. If you're done with trying to be on every single platform, holding back from really showing up from your audience because it feels too overwhelming, and want to start making some real sales on social the easy way, that's exactly what I can help you with. In my group program, Show Up & Sell, I walk you through understanding what platform you should be on and how to write content that really resonates and draws in your ideal client. So let's break you free from the cycle of overwhelm and exhaustion from marketing on social media with no results. Instead, let's work on making your marketing easy and a lead generating machine! There's only 4 spots open so if you're ready to make a change, comment ONE below!

I’ve signed over 300+ clients from inbound LinkedIn for my marketing agency. None of them cared about my bidding strategy or how we were tested creative. If you’re reading this, you’re likely some sort of marketer, who’s now trying to run an agency. You come from a tactical background. You get excited by specific systems, protocols, and strategies that work. What you need to remember, however, is that agencies don’t care about all that. The tactics are not what they’re hiring you for. They’re hiring you to make things work. To solve a problem. To make them more money. They identify that you have the competence to do something for you that they don’t want to learn, and they’re willing to pay you for it instead. Now, marketers like yourself have the end goal of landing more clients from their LinkedIn posts. But a lot of the times they get caught in no-man’s-land writing posts like: - Tactical breakdowns - Step-by-step tutorials - Why XYZ is the best methodology for Without ever connecting these to a specific outcome, the CMO’s and Head of Growth’s you want buying from you, aren’t going to engage. What you’ll do instead, is spark up a bunch of convos with other dedicated marketers. Which is great, but not the end goal. How do you write on LinkedIn? Are you looking for leads or just trying to spark up conversations?

A lesson in not getting hung up on engagement 👇 When we're posting online, it's so easy to feel disheartened when you're creating content and not necessarily getting the dopamine hits of all those likes and comments. And if you feel like this right now, and the motivation is lacking to create some new posts, have a nosey at this 👇 During a 1st session with a client, she was sold on the idea of email marketing. So we began setting it all up. 💪 By session 2, she'd changed her mind and decided to pursue other business ideas. So we scrapped the email marketing plan, and instead planned out some in-person events for her current clients. Fast forward to session 3, she began by telling me email marketing was back on the table and she'd already started setting it up again 😅 I asked her what had changed her mind... And she told me it was all off the back of a post I'd put on IG where I'd shared some stats around audience reach and how email is considerably better. Now that same post only has about 14 likes at the time of me writing this. There's only 1 comment on it as well. By all accounts, it looks like it hasn't done much 🤷♀️ BUT! Little did I know that it would have such an impact on my client, and enough to totally change the direction of her marketing. 🚀 So a couple of reflections: 👉 You never know who's watching or the impact you're having. Likes don't = impact. 👉 Write content that inspires your current clients, and that will inevitably attract fellow like-minded people. 👉 Your worth and impact is not reflected in your social media markers of "success". Keep showing up and doing your own thing. People ARE watching you right now 👀😁
