The picture below was taken at one of my farewells over the past weeks – after over four incredible years, tomorrow will be my last day at Root. Reflecting on my time here fills me with immense gratitude. Drinks in the Elgin dam together, smashing piñatas to celebrate team wins, and even nagging all you lovely humans to complete performance reviews on time – every experience has been meaningful because of the genuinely wonderful people I’ve had the pleasure to work with. Root has played a defining role in my professional journey, giving me the space to grow, learn, and establish my place in the ‘People’ world. I’m deeply thankful for the opportunities to develop and mature my skills in an environment as supportive as this. One of Root’s core values, “Rally as One Team,” truly shines through in everything we do. There’s always someone willing to collaborate, think through challenges, and craft creative solutions—a culture I will always cherish and take forward with me in my future career.
