3 Ways to Manage Pressure & Make Ends Meet as an upcoming Artist. 1. When you're feeling overwhelmed by the art world, remember to take things one step at a time. Set achieveable goals for yourself, whether it's creating a certain number of pieces each week or submitting your artwork to a specific gallery or competition. By breaking down your larger aspirations into smaller, manageable tasks, you can make progress without feeling like you're drowning in pressure. 2. When you're trying to make connections in the art world, focus on building genuine relationships rather than just networking for the sake of it. Attend local art events and exhibitions, introduce yourself to other artists, and strike up a conversation with curators or Galleries who you admire. If you approach these interactions with a curious and open mindset, you're more likely to make meaningful connection that can benefit your career down the line. 3. When you're exploring different avenues for promoting your works remember that there's no one-size-fits-all approach.
