It’s been 20 months since our last big recruiting project but we finally landed one! 🥳 Here’s what I’m doing differently for Dot 2.0: 1) Going slow to go fast I’m bringing a few people from my DotConnect team back. In our first reconnection call, we began with a moment of mindfulness. We shared good news, both personally and professionally, then we dug into the work. 2) Alignment on vision and values We met to review the vision statement I shared with the team in 2022, ensuring we are all rallied around it, and ready to deliver it to fruition. We also: → reviewed the company values → talked through key behaviors that support our values → discussed how those have shown up in prior engagements and what I expect today 3) Intention-first talent advisory I led a session on what it means to be a Talent Advisor and how to be intentional where others are seemingly unintentional. 4) Ownership over outcomes I asked the team what pieces of the sourcing funnel they wanted to own then supported them as they began their research. I set one stretch target for the team to hit by EOD the following friday. This all happened less than 2 days on the engagement. As I slowly lead in Dot 2.0 there are some thing I’m doing differently, some things I’m not doing at all, and some things that are completely new to me. I’ll share my process for those of you who are interested!
