#Imaging, self-exams, and self-awareness of symptoms can help to diagnose breast cancer early. #Breastcancer can cause a range of #emotions, including #depression, #anxiety, #fear, #loneliness, and body image issues. Many people have some vague idea that breast cancer requires some combination of #surgery, #radiation therapy, and maybe #chemotherapy, but they don't know much beyond that. They might not realize that they can speak to five different people with breast cancer and discover that they have five different treatment plans in the era of #morden or #precisiononcology. some common myths & facts about breast cancer. 1. #MYTH: If I don’t have a family history of breast cancer, I won’t get it #FACT: Most people diagnosed with breast cancer have no known family history. 2. #MYTH: If you maintain a healthy weight, exercise regularly, eat healthy, and limit alcohol, you don’t have to worry about breast cancer #FACT: Although these behaviors can help lower breast cancer risk, they can’t eliminate it. 3. #MYTH: Consuming too much sugar causes breast cancer #FACT: There is no evidence that sugar in the diet causes breast cancer 4. #MYTH: Annual mammograms guarantee that breast cancer will be found early #FACT: Although mammography is the best early-detection tool we have, it doesn’t always find breast cancer at an early stage. #breastcancerawerness #breatcancertreatment #cancercare #precisiononcology #pinkmonth #communityawerness #earlydetection
