Me: (applying for a project near the District/ Washington DC) Look, I learn new platforms every other month. That’s what we have to do when we onboard a client.. It’s not a problem to get a Google Analytics certification over the weekend.. Also me: hmmm this is harder than expected 😂 I did it though! Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you identify and resolve these discrepancies: 1️⃣ 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀: Ensure GA4 and Google Ads are set to the same time zone. Mismatched time zones can cause reporting delays or inconsistencies. 2️⃣ 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴: Confirm that the conversion events in GA4 match the ones defined in Google Ads. Misaligned event names or parameters often lead to mismatches. 3️⃣ 𝗘𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼-𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝘀: Auto-tagging ensures seamless data transfer between Google Ads and GA4.
