Be conscious of being an “expired avatar.” What is an “expired avatar”? It's the old parts of you that want to die off and be reborn—a cycle of death and rebirth, like rising from the ashes. If you continue to try to relive a part of you that wants to evolve, that’s when mental health issues can become very real. The more you try to act as if those parts of you don’t exist, the more you will seek dopamine hits. "Dopamine hits" are the bursts of pleasure or reward that occur in the brain when dopamine, a neurotransmitter, is released. Dopamine is often called the "feel-good" chemical because it plays a significant role in the brain's reward system, influencing feelings of pleasure, motivation, and reinforcement of behaviors. It’s completely fine to not know what to do next. It’s also completely fine with knowing you no longer resonate with things you’re used to doing. It’s not completely fine to act like your “expired avatar” isn’t expired. I like to use this technique to calm myself down when new experiences come my way and it makes me anxious. I say to myself while taking a walk… “It’s okay, I’m okay (deep breath). It’s okay, I’m okay (deep breath). I got this. I’m good. Bruh, I’m tripping. I’m human. My feelings are very real, but they’re not necessarily my reality. All I have to do is be better than I was yesterday. Am I better? Duh, the f*ck! Just remember, everything I want I get, if not immediately, eventually. 💯 Just keep going, beautiful. Don’t stop for anything or anyone! Just breathe (deep breath). God’s got me, just like last time and the time before that, and all the times before that.” I had to figure something out after everything I’ve been through, and the best part is that this process actually works for me and all my clients. Happy Friday, everyone! As we head into the weekend, I wanted to share something fascinating that caught my eye – a groundbreaking collaboration between music and AI. Washed Out's new music video for "The Hardest Part" is a trip down memory lane, but with a twist. It's the first official commissioned music video made with OpenAI's Sora video model, marking a new milestone in the intersection of art and technology. Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/eM2haCvH As someone passionate about the transformative potential of AI, I'm always excited to see how it's being used to push creative boundaries. This video showcases the incredible possibilities that open up when artists and innovators embrace cutting-edge tools. It's amazing to think about how AI is shaping not just business and technology, but also art, music, and storytelling. Collaborations like this hint at a future where the lines between human creativity and machine intelligence become increasingly blurred, opening up new avenues for expression and exploration. I'd love to hear your thoughts! Have you come across any other exciting examples of AI being used in creative fields? How do you think this technology will continue to evolve and shape the way we create and experience art? As always, I'm fascinated by the endless opportunities that emerge when we combine human ingenuity with powerful technological tools. Here's to a future filled with innovation, creativity, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible! Have a great weekend, all!
