🎉 Thrilled to announce our new paper "Shedding Light on Large Generative Networks: Estimating Epistemic Uncertainty in Diffusion Models" accepted at the 40th Conference on Uncertainty in Artificial Intelligence #UAI! 🚀 A huge shoutout and merits to ** Lucas Berry ** and David Meger for the hard work! McGill University #CAOS-Barcelona Supercomputing Center Dive into what we've tackled: Generative diffusion models are impressive with their >100 million params, operating in vast image spaces. Traditional uncertainty estimates and managing struggle here due to sheer scale. 🤯 🔍 Our approach? We introduced DECU (Diffusion Ensembles for Capturing Uncertainty), a framework that efficiently trains ensembles of diffusion models using Epistemic uncertainty. This method cuts down the compute load and the number of parameters needing to training #deepensembles. Plus, DECU uses PaiDEs (Pairwise-Distance Estimators) to finely manage #Epistemic uncertainty to improve itself. He explained about the various features of tool and creating bucket with frames, links, etc. He specifically focused the connectivity of various packages which supports Artificial Intelligence.
