Win or lose, one thing is for sure! People are going to hate. Watching UFC 306 last night made it clear. 2 new champions were born (1 reclaimed). Yet, the narrative is that it was too boring. They achieved their dream But others still had negative things to say. Moral of the story: If you’re going to receive hate regardless, Then you might as well get it as a winner. People want you to win in their way. Or, they only want you to win to a certain point. Get clear on what’s a win for YOU. Put your blinders on and become obsessed.

Sometimes, we fight and believe that we are the owners of reason and we don't believe that anyone can do better than us... Because our self-esteem is really good. This can generate conflicts... Knowing how to recognize that they can do better than us and celebrate together in victories, that's where true champions live. Watch the video and recognize a true champion.

💡 WIN OR LEARN 💎 This story highlights one way Rickson Gracie was raised to be the best in his sport in the world. 🤔 WHY IT MATTERS: When I coached youth baseball, I tried to arrange games in threes. We would play a team better than us, to learn where we had to go (we usually lost). Then we would play a team we were ahead of, to see how far we had come (we always won). Then we played a team at our level where the outcome was uncertain (we won some, we lost some). This approach kept us growing, appreciating our progress, and never backing away from a challenge. 💬 When winning is all that matters, you lose a lot in the bargain. 🗝️ KEY IDEA: We grow at the edge of our ability, not in the middle of our comfort zone. 🔗 GO DEEPER: 📕 https://amzn.to/4aBSALa #Breath #WiningAndLosing #Mindset

How UFC is relatable to business and life: Step 1: Put all challenges front and center Step 2: Start swinging and rolling with the punches As a result, you'll never know when and how you'll come out to the top. However, the odds of winning are 10-fold and that's what winners do... They put everything on the line.

Championship teams have championship teammates. I am an old coach and love hearing sentences like this. Tony Vitello is the head coach of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville baseball team. They won the college world series last night in dramatic fashion. Their team has been #1 a good portion of the year and he is an extraordinary coach. Take a peek at your team. Whether you are winning or losing much of the reason is because of your teammates. When we hire here at The Mullings Group, we look for individuals that thrive at being on a team. People that love to practice and play - together. You can see it when people celebrate for someone else or support them when things do not go their way. It perpetuates our high retention rate and encourages others to want to join. What questions can you ask during an interview to determine if someone is a championship teammate? Ask for specific examples of times they were on teams personally or professionally. What was memorable about that experience? What role did each person play? See how much they speak about themselves vs the team. What did the team do well? Where were there areas for improvement? What were the teams' successes? How? What were the teams' disappointments/obstacles? Why? How did the team make decisions? What did you feel when you joined that team? What did you feel when you left that team? Wondering what impact this person had on the team during their time. All of this coming from a #Gator fan. Congratulations #RockyTop. #teamfirstsecondandlast #medtech #baseball Here is the clip:

#FunFactFriday #FFF Did you know that Abraham Lincoln was not only a licensed bartender but also a world-class wrestler, having lost only one of his approximately 300 matches?! The True Price of Success ⚠️ Unpopular Opinion… Don’t set goals; set sacrifices you are prepared to make to be successful. Congratulations, Usyk. 🥊🏆 🎥 I only caught the highlights of the highly anticipated Undisputed Heavyweight bout between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, but the message I want to share comes from Usyk’s post-fight conference. He outlined the price he had to pay to be ready for the fight—9 months straight of: 🎂 Missed children’s birthdays 👫 Time with close friends 📅 Important family milestones and holidays 🥗 Strict routines and diets 🎯 And more to ensure he was hyper-focused on the goal—to become the next Undisputed Heavyweight Champion (holder of 4 belts). Usyk said, “I sacrificed everything to achieve this. Success demands everything you have.” And that’s the reality! The harsh reality is that some aren’t willing to make those sacrifices, and that’s absolutely okay. It’s important to do what is right for you and your life. Run your own race at your own pace! For the few who are prepared to pay the ultimate price, they achieve the prestigious prizes. There is no overnight success! Wishing everyone all the success with their hopes and dreams! Go get them! 🚀💪 #Success #Dedication #Sacrifice #Inspiration #Motivation

Don't just run the race--understand the race! Congratulations to Noah Lyles on his incredible gold medal win! 🥇 However, not everyone understands why he won, especially when Kishane Thompson, the Jamaican runner, seemed to cross the finish line first. This highlights a crucial lesson: understanding the rules of the game is just as important as playing it well. In every field, be it sports, business, or personal growth, knowing the rules and how they apply can make the difference between winning and losing. Don’t just run the race—understand the race. Study the rules, master them, and let that knowledge propel you to success. Just like Noah, your gold medal moment might come when others least expect it. #Motivation #NoahLyles #WinningMindset #MasterTheGame
