𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞! 2023 proved to be an extremely busy year for Van Oord. We concluded 2023 with strong results: revenue reached record high and profits more than doubled. The Annual Report provides a comprehensive overview of these results. 📈 In the report, Van Oord also reflects on a significant repositioning, which involved the consolidation of 4 separate business units - Dredging, Netherlands, Offshore Wind and Offshore - into the 2 robust business units Dredging & Infra and Offshore Energy. We witnessed a clear market recovery, driven by climate adaptation, the energy transition and corresponding need for marine infrastructure. 📢 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗞. 🎉 Today the The Crown Estate working with Great British Energy has announced the Marine Delivery Routemap which outlines a long term strategy for our marine space, supporting net zero, energy transition and energy security in the UK. ♻ This will help to deliver sustainable growth, a more systems led, co-ordinated approach across multiple sectors and through continued collaboration with partners and stakeholders 🤝 The report “Future of Offshore Wind – Considerations for development and leasing to 2030 and beyond” also released today looks at the early thinking on the ‘what, when, where and how’ for future seabed development to support the offshore wind industry in meeting potential demand out to 2040. ✅ This report marks an exciting step towards unlocking the next 20-30GW of offshore wind pipeline. Much of this new offshore wind capacity is expected to be in areas of North East England and the Celtic Sea. 🌊 Additional smaller areas of opportunity, that could accommodate smaller scale developments, lie off the coasts of North Wales, North West England, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. The precise approach to development remains under consideration but is expected to include a mix of fixed and floating foundations. This is such welcome news for North East England, both NOF and Energi Coast have worked extremely hard recently through our Deepwater Offshore Wind campaign to promote why this region is so well placed and prepared for more leasing rounds. The news today will also mean the region will see yet more supply chain opportunities, more jobs, more social value and community benefit. 🤝 North East England stands ready to support The Crown Estate and Great British Energy to help deliver our renewables future. https://lnkd.in/epNNbGHf #nof #energicoast #offshorewindnortheastengland #fixedoffshorewind #floatingoffshorewind

We are thrilled to share that Next Harbour has secured a $3 million grant from the Australian Government, marking a pivotal step forward in advancing offshore wind energy in Australia. We extend our deepest gratitude to The Honourable Ed Husic MP, Minister for Industry and Science, for his steadfast support and dedication to fostering sustainable energy innovation. The project, titled Holistic Economical Offshore Wind Turbine Solution for Australia, will be undertaken in partnership with a distinguished consortium of collaborators: DOF Subsea Australia, the University of Melbourne, Xodus, Gippsland Climate Change Network Inc. and the NGI - Norwegian Geotechnical Institute. Their expertise and commitment will play a critical role in bringing this groundbreaking initiative to fruition. This project introduces a revolutionary, #FullyIntegratedProcess for the pre-fabrication, transportation, installation, and decommissioning of #WindTurbines, employing an innovative #SuctionBucket foundation system. Designed to eliminate the reliance on heavy-lift vessels, this solution is uniquely optimized for Australia’s offshore conditions and geological landscape, setting a new standard in #efficiency and #sustainability for the wind energy industry. This milestone reflects Australia’s progress toward a greener, low-carbon future, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to #ReducingEmissions, #DrivingInnovation, and fostering a #SustainableEnergyTransition. Together, with our esteemed partners, we are shaping a future powered by clean energy. Let’s build a more sustainable tomorrow, today. #NextHarbour #OffshoreWindEnergy #RenewableEnergy #Sustainability #Innovation #Australia Amena Gorgehpour | Yinghui Tian | Barry Steele | Andrew Taylor | Noel Boylan | Darren McCubbin
