Google DeepMind's SIMA release is very very cool, showcasing the untapped potential of generalist AI systems. This progress is crucial for the future of Artificial Capable Intelligence (ACI), setting the stage for an era where ACI can master the web and unlock new dimensions in business innovation and automation. The journey towards ACI's full web-navigation capabilities is on the horizon, promising to redefine how we leverage the internet for business success. With generalist AI making strides, as exemplified by SIMA, we're inching closer to a world where ACI can autonomously tackle complex, varied tasks to enhance business processes. https://lnkd.in/ghQiJc9n

Following on from yesterday's post where OpenAI can leverage the Unreal Engine, Google has just published how it can use a similar approach to interact with 3D environments with its #SIMA product. #AI is fast becoming pervasive, and no longer a fringe use-case for the boffins. Thinking about common challenges in #CPG, AI is already taking a similar approach, with products such as Wisdom Analytics Inc. AI platform. We've taken a different approach to #TPO because of our frustration with the tools previously available. #Devin the first autonomous software developer is super hot right now but, autonomous agent innovation is happening at a rapid clip. Today we don't talk about deploying AI, we find it much more compelling to facilitate creative discussions about employing generative #AI.

Our focus for the next sprint is on AI and level design. This sprint, we’re aiming to create a playtestable monster AI with a full range of predefined actions and movement capabilities, along with a blockout level for player testing. (I was a bit disappointed we didn’t get to it during #Blocktober, but better late than never I guess...) Reflecting on AI design this past week prior entering the sprint, I wanted to pose this question to my network: When it comes to impactful AI, which do you believe holds greater importance—its character design and visual appeal, or the depth and complexity of its actions and behaviors? The screenshot below shows what we have so far—a kind of map to guide us through the AI’s actions and provide a preview of what the Unreal blackboard will contain. If you’re interested in being a tester, feel free to shoot me a DM!

We’re amazed by HOW FAST game development can be with AI. Sidekick can create game managers to handle the foundational flow of your game, from start to end, in seconds. It scans all existing scripts in your project plus those present in the current scene to know exactly what you’ve already built, and calls exactly what it needs based on your prompt to build singletons tailored to your desired purpose. It’s your personal AI #gamedev partner. Try Sidekick’s early access: www.bezi.com/sidekick
