As I continue with the rewrite of the three books in the fractal series originally published by Sage between 2009 and 2015, and now to be republished by Atlantic Publishers & Distributors Pvt Limited, I am grateful to SAGE for providing the initial platform to articulate it, and to ATLANTIC for giving it new life.
These books offer a theoretical lens on the nature of change in our world, suggesting that micro-level perceptions, assumptions, and behaviors are the most effective levers for macro-level change.
These books are not an easy read. When I submitted the manuscript for the first book to the commissioning editor at SAGE in 2008, he remarked that it might not have a wide readership but because it was a jewel SAGE had a responsibility to publish it.
Reflecting on the gap between the original and the rewrite, I am aware of some changes I have gone through. Previously, I was driven by the fire of new insights, wanting to capture that intensity in my writing. Now such fire has been tempered by a calmer width that allows easier expression of nuance.
Time indeed does change things.
