'MORE' Distracts 'ENOUGH' Liberates What am I talking about? We're all told to: • Dream bigger • Achieve more • Scale faster    What if these mantras are quietly imprisoning us instead of empowering us? We're taught to set massive, ambitious, audacious goals. Shoot for the moon. Define your B.H.A.G.S. (Big Harry Audacious Goals) However, there's a downside to the relentless pursuit of 'MORE' -- You never feel successful about your wins. -- You're never satisfied with what you have. -- You keep piling on new opportunities that don't pan out. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆. ☝️ Quite frankly, I find all of that exhausting and super demotivating. I've fallen into these traps many times. Want an alternative way to think of your business growth? A method to feel whole and successful now? A simple strategy to break free from the golden handcuffs? IF 𝗬𝗘𝗦 Consider exploring your relationship with what 'ENOUGH' means for you. It's seriously liberating. 1. Define what 'ENOUGH' means. 2. Set your intention to become the person who has it. 3. Evaluate your happiness and fulfillment every step of the way. Rinse and repeat as needed. EXAMPLE BEFORE • I want to build a: • $10k per month business. • Then $1M per year • Then $10M per year • Then $50M per year (you get the point, it's never enough) It never ends until you wake up one day at 60+ years old and wonder where the time went and what all this means. AFTER "𝘐'𝘮 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 $10k - 20k a month, spending quality time with my family, and building a community."   𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲. You can use what you discover to rewire your brain for more peace, fulfillment, and joy. Sometimes, to get what you want, you must change your relationship with HOW you strive for it. --Explore and pursue 'MORE' with awareness and presence. --Write your own rules of business engagement. --Design your business with 'ENOUGH' in mind. [Questions for the comments] Have you caught yourself rushing to get 'MORE'? Yes or No If you had your dream results today, how would you be different? What does your happy and 'ENOUGH' look like?

I don't know about you, but I strive to: -- Revel in the business growth journey. -- Slow down and practice presence in the now. -- Experience more of the richness life has to offer. -- Do purposeful work and forge lifelong relationships. -- Have free time to be creative and do fun things with people I love. ☝️- this is my definition of an enriching life well lived. What's yours?

Yes! Just had a conversation yesterday about actually defining the word "enough" - how do you know what it is? Many of us chase it without even knowing what it looks like.

Matthew Biggar, me and Lauren Ammon were talking about this and we said, how much does one really need in order to be happy? Now, I also get the pursuit is not for you but making enough so you can make a difference not just in your family for causes you want to support, give back more than you could ever imagine. But that "giving muscle" is not something you do AFTER but rather a practice in IMO.
