Nouvel article scientifique (en anglais) sur un mouvement d'extrême droite inquiétant, l'Ordre des Neuf Angles (ONA ou O9A), publié hier dans Terrorism and Political Violence. Abstract: "The Order of Nine Angles (ONA) is a complex group whose influence in far-right circles has been growing in recent years. Founded in the late 1960s in Britain, its writings are part of the accelerationist trend and blend a variety of ideological influences. This article aims to better understand the particular form its ideology takes through its aesthetics. I posit that ONA is best understood as a meta-ideology rooted in eschatology, dystopia and ultraviolence, whose visual and discursive material can be employed by a wide range of actors in the accelerationist milieu through a discourse of ultimate transgression."

NEUROREALITY IS A TRANSFORMATIONAL CONTEXT FOR EXISTENCE BRIDGING BRAIN AND MIND, SCIENCE AND RELIGION. NEUROREALITY IS A 4,000 YEAR UPGRADE OF RELIGION, BASED UPON THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD. NEUROREALITY CLARIFIES THE MULTIPLE NATURE OF CONSCIOUSNESS AND OF REALITY TO GIVE US DIRECT ACCESS TO LIFE ITSELF. NEUROREALITY PROVIDES FRESH, MORE ACCURATE ANSWERS TO THE BIG QUESTIONS OF LIFE, SUCH AS, WHO AM I?, WHY AM I HERE? WHAT SHOULD I BE DOING? NEUROREALITY PLACES US AT THE EVENT HORIZON OF AN ETERNAL UNIVERSE OF INFINITE LEVELS, EACH WITH UNIQUE OCCUPANTS AND EMERGENT LAWS. NEUROREALITY UNCOVERS THE DIRECTLY USABLE TRIADIC ELEMENTS THAT PRODUCE BEHAVIOR, MIND, AND LIFE. NEUROREALITY DESCRIBES HOW AND WHY OUR DUAL QUADBRAIN PRODUCES SURVIVAL-OPTIMIZING, MORAL BEHAVIOR THROUGH ITS SOCIETY OF SEVEN. NEUROREALITY IDENTIFIES TWO UNRECOGNIZED NON RACIAL HUMAN SUBSPECIES WHOSE REPRODUCTIVE DIFFERENCES HAVE LONG BEEN AT THE HEART OF CONTINUING HUMAN CONFLICT, FROM THE INTRAPERSONAL TO THE SEXUAL TO THE GLOBAL. NEUROREALITY BRINGS AWARENESS OF A BROKEN DEVELOPMENTAL REPAIR PROGRAM WHOSE MALFUNCTION CONTINUES TO BRING SUFFERING AND WASTE TO HUMANITY. NEUROREALITY PROVIDES THE TOOLS NEEDED TO TRANSFORM A SMART PRIMATE INTO A WISE HUMAN BEING. https://lnkd.in/gc8BQGHE

If, like me, you wonder about the origins of religion, a powerful force that continues to exert a strong influence on us both as individuals and as societies, you will find this (detailed), beautifully titled ("Faces in the Clouds, Traces in the Grass") paper (https://lnkd.in/gnfRvXfU) on CSR (Cognitive Science of Religion) by Herman H. Douma fascinating. Here is an excerpt from the paper to whet your appetite: "Evolutionary psychologists and anthropologists have proposed two primary approaches to the relationship between human cognition and ‘religion’. The two leading approaches are the by-product and adaptationist. According to adaptationist approaches, human behaviours deemed ‘religious’ directly result from an evolutionary adaptation via genetic and cultural selection mechanisms. On the other hand, by-product approaches (the majority view under evolutionary psychologists) suggest that human behaviours deemed ‘religious’ are not the products of selection. Instead, they arise from cognitive adaptations that have intrinsically nothing to do with ‘religion’ but still help them survive and thrive."

New Blog Post: Exploring the Intersection of Modern Politics and Biblical Prophecy I'm excited to share my latest blog post on Bradley the Heretic, where I delve into an in-depth analysis of how Donald Trump's rhetoric, actions, and influence align with the characteristics traditionally attributed to the Antichrist, as described in biblical prophecy. Title: Donald Trump and the Antichrist: A Deep Dive into Eschatology and Modern Politics In this comprehensive article, I explore: - The symbolism of MAGA hats and their parallels with the "mark of the beast." - Insights from theological scholars, including the perspectives of Philip A. Parris and Bernard McGinn. - The historical and cultural context that frames the Antichrist narrative. This research offers a robust framework for understanding the traits and roles associated with the Antichrist, providing a unique lens through which to examine contemporary figures and their impact on society. Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/gbBXJz5b I invite you to read, reflect, and engage with this thought-provoking exploration. Your insights and feedback are highly valued. #Eschatology #BiblicalProphecy #Theology #ModernPolitics #Leadership #BradleyTheHeretic

BOOK OF THE WEEK: "The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Divided by Politics and Religion" by Jonathan Haidt Buy Now: https://amzn.to/3R9ixKS In "The Righteous Mind," social psychologist Jonathan Haidt explores why people have different moral and political beliefs and why these differences often lead to conflict. Drawing on research in psychology, anthropology, and evolutionary biology, Haidt argues that moral judgments stem from intuitive feelings rather than rational thought. He introduces the concept of moral foundations theory, which identifies several universal moral values that vary in importance across cultures and individuals. By understanding these foundations, Haidt believes we can foster more empathy and cooperation among people with diverse viewpoints. This book offers valuable insights into human behavior and is a must-read for anyone interested in bridging ideological divides.

This special issue „Affective regimes of care beyond humanitarian crisis“ deals with the gray area between different dimensions of aid - especially humanitarianism, medical aid and pro-migrant solidarity. It brings together three ethnography-based contributions, the introduction by Hansjörg Dilger and me and a great afterword by Miriam Ticktin. What does the overlapping between different care regimes, regionalisms and political values - culminating in competing understandings of need – mean for the social lives of actors involved and, above all, how is this reflected on the affective level? all contributions are open access, thank to Berghan's anthropology open access initiative: Heike Drotbohm & Hansjörg Dilger: Rethinking affects of care through power. Gnosis, as a special kind of knowledge, should not be confused with. "Gnosticism." ~Footnote #13, Psychology and Religion, Page 45. For a certain type of intellectual mediocrity characterized by enlightened rationalism, a scientific theory that simplifies matters is a very good means of defense because of the tremendous faith modern man has in anything which bears the label "scientific." Such a label sets your mind at rest immediately, almost as well as Roma locuta causa finita: "Rome has spoken, the matter is settled." In itself any scientific theory, no matter how subtle, has, I think, less value from the standpoint of psychological truth than religious dogma, for the simple reason that a theory is necessarily highly abstract and exclusively rational, whereas dogma expresses an irrational whole by means of imagery. https://lnkd.in/eQGfPSrf
