Happy Halloween 🎃 👻 Of course you are all welcome to celebrate Halloween, but I would just like to remind you that by far the more important holiday is Reformation Day, which is also taking place today, an event that has been of inestimable importance for the history of Germany and the world. Reformation Day is a Protestant holiday celebrating the onset of the Reformation. It is said that on this day in 1517, German monk Martin Luther nailed his famous Ninety-Five Theses to the door of the All Saints' Church in the town of Wittenberg - thereby instigating the spread of Protestantism in opposition to Roman-Catholicism. Personally, I don't think it's a bad thing if both holidays are celebrated today: Reformation Day and Halloween. This 'either, or' is something typical German. Reformation Day is for content, Halloween is for commerce. video credit: https://lnkd.in/ePwYcwNN

Dr Mathias: It's brilliant, but could you please explain what we are looking at for us non-radiographers. I assume it is real and not some AI generated image. 👻

Valid point! Also: “Halloween is a celebration that may be enjoyed by individuals of all ages; it is not just for children. You can still partake in the fun as an adult and discover new ways to appreciate the occasion. Adults can use Halloween to express their ideas and creativity by dressing up in distinctive costumes.” Have fun! Disguise 🥸 Pretend to be some one else you are not! Walk down the street as an oldest patient whom you yourself have never been before and let see how you feel and how others react! Enjoy 😉

And, after All hallows even we can celebrate All Saints Day, on November 2nd, All Souls Day! ( Did I mention that I was raised a Catholic, more or less Polish tradition, where All Saints Day is a really, really important holiday. Always loved it. Still do.
