Last week, my 10 year old asked me if I “liked my job” L.O.L. Truth is, I LOVE what I do. I LOVE taking time to think about how to create spaces and opportunities to leverage AMPT: Advancing Nonprofits for BIPOC led organizations to have access to more resources and funding. I LOVE watching reels and reading social media posts from nonprofits who tell beautiful stories about what they’re able to do with a grant from AMPT. I love facilitating cohorts and sharing insights with other executive directors. Triangle Trust 1949 Fund is now open for their first funding opportunity of 2024. They are looking to fund work with young women and girls who are either already caught up in the criminal justice system or are highly vulnerable and likely to enter it. Ultimately, projects will need to either be working towards reducing reoffending behaviours or first convictions.
