Happy to say our 'Crane Skills Assessment / Training' is gaining a lot of interest now. A unique way of identifying the qualities of the #lorryloaderoperator. It shows some very interesting results and shines a light on what we know....and 'what we don't know' about how #craneoperators operate. Oh, and we had our first candidate take down the overhead cable last week. This particular operator has over 30 years experience! The excuses he made were really quite amusing 😀 He can't claim to be 'the best' anymore 🤣 Better it was done in an assessment / training environment though. This way we have the opportunity to #observe and #apply the #specific information to the candidate on what they can do to: 1. Stop preforming dangerous manoeuvres 2. Acknowledge the bad habits that they have developed 3. Learn about alternative skills & techniques 4. Gain confidence by applying improved procedures 5. Become a safer, more competent crane operator If you would like to know more about the 'crane skills challenge' 😉 Then drop me a message or give Jaime Wallis a call 👍 #skillsassessment #training #craneoperators #professionaldevelopment #londonbuildersmerchants #timbermerchants #allmi #fors #qdl

Working Around Cranes In order to ensure safety, it is imperative for workers operating around cranes to undergo specialized training for handling heavy equipment. The crane operator's primary focus is on maneuvering the crane and controlling the load swing, which may inadvertently lead to workers being unseen. Alarmingly, statistics reveal that approximately 30 percent of fatal injuries in the construction industry are associated with activities involving cranes. It is vital to remember that remaining unseen puts one's safety at risk, emphasizing the importance of avoiding the areas beneath the crane. https://buff.ly/44IOeOP #Cranes #Construction #HeavyEquipment #SafetyFirst #WorkplaceSafety #ConstructionSafety #IndustrialSafety #SafetyStandards #SafetyCulture #OSHACompliance #ElevatedWork #JobSiteSafety #CraneSafety #RiskManagement #APCraneTraining #APCT
