I often get asked a question - what do you enjoy so much about your job? And my answer has not changed in ages - it is still the rush of solving challenging problems and identifying ways of crafting a solution that leverages all the aspects of a cleverly designed #sap product range. It does help that I understand #employeecentral #payroll and can therefore envisage a solution end - to - end from clock inputs to valuating them in SuccessFactors time tracking to payment in EC payroll. Then again, I cannot take all the credit for it; I do need to acknowledge that I have very knowledgeable peers like Adhira Nair & Vinod Gopalakrishna who are as passionate about the SuccessFactors product offerings in EC Payroll and SuccessFactors Time Tracking & Integration Center as me - makes it all the more easy to explore solutions that are optional but do make sense to understand and address. It was a sunny afternoon in late February '24 when we together decided to work on a question posted on my previous blog - "Automatic Absence Creation for Late coming/Early leaving in SuccessFactors Time Tracking" by a peer from the HXM space - Thank you, Ashish S., for the intellectual nudge - we co-authored a blog trying to explore how we can send time collectors to payroll. Looking forward to interesting inputs; would like to certainly call out that the need to use the one time payments may be redundant in the situation but the technical feasibility of doing so was the focus of the blog post.
