When creating a learning tool, a best practice at any stage is to examine the program from a learner's perspective. Ask yourself if the content is engaging, if it holds your attention and if the navigation is clear and easy to understand. Doing this throughout development will help you modify your content as needed for your intended audience. Lazy #InstructionalDesigners reuse generic content. Great instructional designers focus on differentiation and learner outcomes. If your course isn’t engaging learners, take a look at the approach you’re using. ✅ Is it designed to be truly unique and tailored to your learners' specific needs? ❌ Or is it just “one-size-fits-all” content that doesn’t offer real value? If so, you’ll blend in, and learner participation will be low. Everything improves when you prioritize differentiation. You get more engagement, higher course completion rates, and learners will retain and apply the material more effectively. Start with the instructional design approach. Then, use personalized learning pathways to create the most impactful course for your audience. #LearnerEngagement
