Great discussion on TBM & FinOps! Read!!!!

Fascinating to see the competing dynamic between TBM and FinOps developing. The two are near identical and need to coexist but there seems to be some crossover appearing and a little bit of ego. The mildly harsh truth is that TBM understands the business conversations and FinOps is a cost line. Forrester put it well at a session this week, Cloud spend is certainly big but only averages at 14% of IT spend. Personally I think FinOps needs to learn a lot from the structure, process and maturity of TBM. TBM's understanding of business process, decision making and seat in the C-suite is exceptionally important. Putting egos aside, doing both together would save a fortune, but what do i know?

Great week with the ProsperOps team at our Spring Summit here in Austin. I've always believed that there was no other rate optimization product that could deliver the outcomes that we could with our automation.
