What are you learning, unlearning or relearning? “In our increasingly “squiggly” careers, where people change roles more frequently and fluidly and develop in different directions, the ability to unlearn, learn, and relearn is vital for long-term success.” 💡 Loved this piece by Helen & Sarah of Amazing If on tangible ways we can make learning part of our day-to-day. With the different roles that I juggle, I’m currently relearning the importance of timeboxing to help me optimise my productivity by alloting a fixed & maximum amount of time to a task #workinprogress🤞 If this article resonated with you too, would love to hear what you would like to learn, unlearn and relearn this year! Making small daily investments in continuous learning doesn't have to be hard. As this article suggests, learning does not necessarily mean sitting in a classroom or completing an e-learning. Things like- *Monthly coffee chats with someone new in order to gain fresh perspectives. *Trying out new tools and approaches, and noting what you've learned. *Informal skills swaps to share knowledge among colleagues. *Personal habit tracking to consciously unlearn routine behaviors to discover better ways of working. *Asking propelling, future-oriented questions to challenge the status quo and inspire innovative thinking. (LOVE this one!) Making an effort to unlearn old habits, learn or relearn skills, engaging colleagues, and asking future forward questions will strengthen your adaptability, resilience, and readiness for changes to come.

An insightful read from Harvard Business Review on the importance of continuous learning in today’s ever-changing career landscape. As our roles evolve, so does the need to unlearn, learn, and relearn. Embracing this mindset not only helps us grow professionally but also makes us more adaptable and resilient to change. Highly recommend this article for anyone looking to invest in their long-term career development!

In a dynamic world there are many things competing for our attention. In this case, it was a simple article title - Make Learning a Part of Your Daily Routine. We know that attracting and retaining talent is a top concern for business leaders in 2024. In this article LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman shares that he looks for individuals who have an "infinite learning curve" (constantly learning and quickly). In the spirit of creating environments for us all to thrive, consider these questions as you launch into your week: 1). What are you learning today? 2). How are you learning from others? 3). Where are you stretching your strengths? (applying your strengths in different contexts) #learningmindset #belonging #highperformingteams #frontlineworkers #leadershipdevelopment Bendelta

“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”- Mahatma Gandhi If you commit to learning one new word per day, you end up with a capability to write, > A new sentence per week… > A new paragraph per month… > Several pages per quarter… > And possibly a book at the end of the year… Seems like an exaggeration !! Trust, it is not. Continual learning is the only path that push us forward on the journey of growth & success. Develop a passion for learning, if you do you will only enhance your capabilities & will improve your perspectives. Don’t be a “know-it-all” kind of person. The world is an amazing stage that offers new avenues for learning, every single day. #learningandgrowing #growthmindset #selfimprovement #committosuccess
