CEO @ KnowledgeOwl - I help people build great knowledge base websites.

We don't feature gate at KnowledgeOwl. I was chatting with other SaaS CEOs about how much they can and do charge for SSO. Many only include it on their Enterprise/top pricing tier, while others charge for it as an add-on to the tune of $5k/year. We have one plan with all features starting at $100/month. And that includes SSO. Are we leaving money on the table? Signs point to absolutely. Does it make life better for both us and our customers? I like to think so. This might be one of those silly decisions I will rethink and change course on down the line, but I'm currently holding fast on our pricing being a competitive differentiator. And to be clear, we aren't doing it just to be different and compete on pricing. I like when software companies have straightforward, simple pricing. So that's what we aim to do. It's the platinum rule applied to business: Do unto others as you would want done unto you :)
