Brianne and I had the best time yesterday with Mayor Felicia Brunson giving toys to children at the Carver Ranches Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County in the City of West Park! It was wonderful helping spread so much holiday joy! A special thank you to Rita Case, Matt Organ, Ron Cacciatore and all the wonderful staff members of the Boys and Girls Clubs!
This one just made my day.
Beautiful and heartwarming.
5 values I found in this short scene:
(1) Compassion: The children showed compassion by sharing their food with the hungry child, even though they had limited resources themselves.
(2) Empathy: They were able to understand the child's situation and feel empathy for his hunger.
(3) Generosity: The children were generous in giving away part of their own food, demonstrating a willingness to help others.
(3) Kindness: Their actions were kind and thoughtful, showing consideration for the well-being of their classmate.
(3) Solidarity: The children united in their support for the hungry child, demonstrating a sense of community and shared responsibility.

Fatherhood is a unique journey. Dads bond with their children in their own special ways, fostering exploration, building confidence, and creating unforgettable memories.
Parenting is a team effort, but each parent brings a distinct perspective. Dads might be the masters of silly games or the champions of bedtime stories. They might teach patience through fishing trips or responsibility through fixing a flat tire together.
This Father's Day, let's celebrate the dads who make a difference! Share your favorite Dad-venture story in the comments below!

I am incredibly humbled by the amount of support I’ve received from our community. Megan and I love Fishers and our schools dearly and want our son and future children to have the same experience as we did in school. I look forward to sharing my vision for our schools with voters!
A special delivery of Postbooks is heading to our pals at CoAction! They will be utilizing Postbook in their AmeriCorps Senior Foster Grandparent program!
"Drive as if every child on the street were your own" is a powerful reminder of the responsibility and care we must take when behind the wheel. Here are some key principles to embody this mindset:
Prioritize Safety Above All: Always put safety first. Obey traffic laws, speed limits, and signals. Be extra cautious in residential areas, near schools, and playgrounds.
Stay Alert and Focused: Avoid distractions such as using your phone, eating, or adjusting the radio. Keep your full attention on the road and your surroundings.
Anticipate Unpredictable Behavior: Children can be unpredictable. Expect the unexpected and be prepared to stop or slow down suddenly.
Slow Down in Residential Areas: Drive slowly in neighborhoods and near schools. Lower speeds give you more time to react to any sudden movements by children.Be Extra Cautious at Crosswalks: Approach crosswalks with care. Always yield to pedestrians, and be especially vigilant for children who might dart out unexpectedly.
Respect School Buses: Stop for school buses that are loading or unloading children. Be aware that children may cross the street in front of or behind the bus.La Donna Claude
