It was great to share my thoughts today on the topic of "Challenges and trends facing customer firms". It was interesting to hear how far we have come with data democratisation and data discoverability. An area of expertise that I got to share was focus on cost savings initiatives that must be weighed up against new product development, business opportunities and staying competitive. I also discussed my focus on people talent, so our business becomes more effective. My teams are given ownership and through diverse thought and t-shaped skill sets, we get amazing team performance. My aim was to give different perspective and highlight other areas of savings than traditional ones. Thank you to my esteemed panellists Conrad Ball, Letitia Matthews and Steve Cheng.
