AI is the future. Full stop! As digital marketers we have to adapt, or be left behind! The very nature of our profession revolves around adopting new ways to market in the digital realm, and implementing new tools to help achieve strategies, so what is preventing the extensive adoption of AI by marketers from taking off? This article does consider some reasons, but for me, fear may be the biggest hurdle marketers have to jump over. I use AI extensively, but I never relegate every aspect of my marketing activities to this electronic assistant. I maintain a healthy perspective about AI, and I use it to supplement my skills and experience, not replace them. I like this statement that was made in the article: "AI is a powerful tool that enhances capabilities, not eliminates roles. Just like a car needs a driver, AI requires human creativity, critical thinking and strategic decision-making to produce solid outcomes."
