As a CMO-whisperer, I've always had this belief about business decision making, especially during uncertain times brought on by huge technological or market or consumer behavior changes: 💠 big decisions require humans to sit around a table, hold difficult discussions, make nuanced, complex, trade-off-filled, consensus-driven choices....based on a "forest-through-the-trees" confidence that comes from an ever-growing variety of signals and systems. ✴ This is a distinctly human process. I love her label of "sidekick" for the function of AI in marketing (and in many other areas too). As long as big decisions require H2H relationships, AI will remain the smartest sidekick.
