🎯 What does it take to build a scalable, customer-first property management company? At Mark Brower Properties, we've never really focused on "marketing." Over the past 13 years, we’ve grown from $0 to over $2M in annual revenue almost entirely through word of mouth and stellar online reviews—with only a few (mostly ineffective) marketing experiments along the way. But now, we’re doubling down on our mission to "Help good people do more good." This means investing in branding and marketing to reach and serve more landlords and residents. Our goal: 120 new client leads per month by end of Q1 2025. 300 leads per month by 12/31/2026 Step 1: We brought in Vince Adam as our fractional CMO, and he’s already made incredible progress. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be launching our first real marketing campaigns, and I’m excited to see where this takes us! As we embrace marketing, there are some things we’ll never compromise on: 🚫 What we won’t do: 1️⃣ Pay clients or tenants for 5-star reviews. 2️⃣ Lure clients in with low fees only to hit them—and their residents—with big costs later 3️⃣ Force residents to pay for services that don’t provide real, tangible value. ✅ What we’ll always remember: 1️⃣ Property management is, at its heart, a customer service business. 2️⃣ Being a landlord is stressful for most people, and we exist to ease that burden. 3️⃣ The property manager is the linchpin of client trust—everything we do needs to support them in building and holding this trust. This marketing journey is new territory for us, but we’re staying true to our values while leveling up to build a truly scalable, customer-focused property management company.
