Is it just me, or do we need to start SIPs just to attend concerts now?
First, Coldplay tickets made me question my life savings. Now, Karan Aujla’s ₹15-lakh tickets have BookMyShow playing the ultimate boss move—cutting out resellers and keeping the crazy profits for themselves! Why let Viagogo or some random scalper make the cool money when you can make it in-house, right?
The ticketing frenzy is getting so wild that I wouldn’t be surprised if Vijay Shekhar Sharma is already texting Deepinder Goyal:
"Hey, can I have Paytm’s event ticketing business back? That’s where all the real money is now!”
But honestly, where does it end? ₹15-lakh tickets? Soon, concerts will need EMIs or, better yet, mutual fund plans with “concert-ready returns.” SIPs for live music—that’s the future!
Are these prices justified, or have concerts become the new status symbol?
