DiMassimo Goldstein is stepping aside to make room for Omnicom in their takeover of Interpublic Group (IPG). DiGo enjoys independence, and our clients would prefer we weren't in mega-merger meetings, shopping for islands, or unavailable due to multi-week tax planning retreats. Still, it would have been fun to have a unique door in our Paris office. Anyway, c’est la vie... we wish these two lovebirds years of happiness, or should I say "quarters?" Yeah, quarters it is. #unstuckyouragency #unstuckyourbrand #unstuckyourgrowth
Mark DiMassimo, you and Lee have built a fiercely independent and visionary culture at DiGo. That spirit of independence has been the driving force behind DiGo’s brilliance and success in all the years I've known you, and it has been a joy to watch from up close and afar. Here’s to the legacy you’ve created! Also, everyone knows that you should wait until after the holidays to buy an island; that's when all the good sales are.
The C-Suite leaders of both companies will morph from “wealthy” to “fabulously wealthy,” and untold thousands of staff on both sides better start updating their resumes/CVs…!! We’ve seen the outcome of such “synergistic merging of competencies” before!! Maybe it’s a boon for DIGO talent acquisition??!!
You're just jealous you don't have a French door.
Well said Mark! - This is why DiGo supports their clients in both unique and imaginative ways...always leading the pack.
Fantastic update
The real question is whether they will call themselves Omnipublic or Intercom.
Sadly this merger also means a lot of good people are now Zombie Employees for the next 12-24 months... they're out of work, they just don't know it yet.
Long live the independent agency! It’s been a slippery slope ever since Sir Martin decided to take his dads wire and plastic products company into the communications industry. Wire & Plastic Products and Ads. Oh my.
Hats off to all the independents out there!

1wAt some point you need to leave a few islands for others, no?
