Happy November 1. I hope and trust you had a wonderful October ... and enjoyed a few sweets this week. While it is rare for me to post things of a personal nature on this forum, please follow along. A person I have tremendous respect and admiration for (to remain anonymous) recently described me as "objective" and offered up several examples (don't care to share). I don't know about you, but given the number of times I have celebrated birthdays, I have seen and experienced a lot of things in my personal and professional life. Things which lead to opinions, thoughts and actions. And to be referred to as "objective" by someone I revere, simply warms my heart. Is it true? A bigger question. But I will take it over the alternative ... and view it favorably. How about you (now that I have put my belief out there for all to see and judge)? Let me hear from you. Drop a comment. Does objectivity matter? If yes, how does one evaluate, eg outcomes, emotions, etc. I appreciate your perspectives and associated engagement. Note: no wrong answers.

Happy birthday June born! Age can not make you feel weak when the mind is determined to achieve. Feel strong and positive as you enter June, and feel special if you celebrate a special day this month, whether your birthday anniversary or any milestone. As we grow old, we put aside many of our dreams, thinking we are to old try. There is no doubt that growing age can lessen our strength and level of energy, but if the mind is strong, we generate the strength to achieve anything. We may be slow, it may take time, but we can make it possible. So, if you have any dreams, don't put them away because you feel too old to try. Go slow, but give it a go. Even if you don't achieve anything you want, you will discover the strength you still have. Best wishes.

As my son’s 11th birthday is coming up, here are 11 pieces of advice for him that I hope would resonate with you, too: 1. There’s a way out of every problem. You must be able to know when it’s time to ask someone for help. 2. Even the worst day cannot last more than 24 hours. 3. Advertising is not for real. No product will make one’s life perfect or guarantee happiness. The only one who can decide on what makes you happy is YOU. 4. Every word we speak affects others. With unkind words, less is more. With uplifting words, more is more. 5. You’re writing your own story every day. How do you want to be remembered? 6. Hand-write thank you notes. This gesture means you appreciate the person enough to sit down and write. 7. Look at the bright light. Squint if needed. 8. Always be connected with your life’s purpose, it’s usually one that makes you feel blissfully alive. 9. Make sure you’re never the reason someone feels bad. 10. Hang in there. Have faith that you’re on your way to better days. 11. Take a break. You can get back to the real world later. Hazel Rodriguez Nico Salinas

| 36 Times Around the Sun | As I celebrate my 36th birthday, I find myself reflecting on the lessons that have brought the most joy, peace, and love into my life. Some of those lessons are found within these five books that have shaped who I am today: 1. The Bible: This is my daily compass, guiding me through every season. It’s an act of faith and worship, a source of strength that never grows old. Each time I read it, I find new meaning that speaks to the present chapter of my life. 2. The Secret: “Ask and you shall receive.” This book changed how I view life, helping me understand the power of vision, manifestation, and gratitude. Positivity attracts positivity—it’s truly a choice and a mindset. The more you give, the more you receive. Simple, yet profound principles to live by. 3. A Purpose Driven Life: On my 4th read of this one! This book is a guide to recenter our “why.” It challenges us to live a purpose-driven life, unlocking ways to do so. 4. The Four Agreements: So simple, yet so powerful. Be impeccable with your word. Don’t take things personally. Don’t make assumptions. Always do your best. 5. Becoming Supernatural: A recent addition to my reading list, and one I’m finding hard to put down! Dr. Joe Dispenza shows how we all have the potential to tap into extraordinary abilities and transcend our limitations. It’s both eye-opening and inspiring. Every birthday is a moment to reflect—on how far we’ve come, where we’re headed, and what we’re grateful for in the present moment. It’s a time to celebrate what was, what is, and what’s yet to come. As I look forward to this next year, I pray for abundance in business, health for my family, and opportunities to give more, do more, and be more than I ever imagined. Cheers to being one year wiser!

Recently I celebrated my birthday which was unlike any other. With my son thriving at university and my husband away traveling, it was the first time I celebrated without my family by my side. At first, I wondered how it would feel—quiet, perhaps even a little lonely. But life always finds a way to show you its magic. My incredible colleagues, who have become my extended family, stepped in to make the day truly unforgettable. From heartfelt messages to little surprises, my family and friends across, they went above and beyond to celebrate me. It reminded me of the power of building a tribe—a circle of people who not only support you but champion you. As I reflect, I realize how this tribe has shaped me, and what I’ve learned along the way: 💡 Nurture relationships – Friendships don’t just happen; they’re built over time with care, trust, and shared values. 💡 Value what’s real – Invest in authenticity, in yourself and others. Real connections are what truly sustain us. 💡 Believe in yourself – When you have self-belief, your tribe will see it and reflect it back to you. 💡Be authentic and consistent – Credibility shines when you bring your best self, opening doors and attracting opportunities without needing validation from others. 💡 Enjoy the moment – Life is fleeting; each moment, especially those shared with people who care, is worth savoring. Birthdays are no longer just about cake and candles for me—they’re about gratitude. Gratitude for the journey, for the lessons learned, and for the people who remind me every day that I’m never alone. To my tribe—thank you for lifting me up, for seeing me, and for making me feel celebrated even when family was miles away. You’ve shown me that love and support come in many forms, and I’m deeply grateful to have you in my corner. 💕 #Gratitude #BuildingYourTribe #LifeLessons #CelebrateEveryMoment

You don't need new goals! You need big actions! This is the start of a new month and a new quarter. I know you've beat yourself up for not achieving your set goals. You've given yourself words of encouragement to get yourself on track. You've got yourself pumped up And penned down new set goals you want to achieve this quarter. Bravo 👏 Well done But before you go further don't you think you should take a step back? Don't you think you should focus on the goals you didn't achieve in the Q1 before stockpiling new goals? Especially if you're that person who gets overwhelmed easily. In case you've not been told, there's nothing bad in chasing old valid goals. The only thing bad is when you choose to abandon them and go after new goals you probably won't achieve again. This is a new month and quarter, don't set new goals instead go big on taking action to achieve old valid goals. Happy new month Happy Easter Monday Happy celebration Welcome to the Q2 of 2024 & the best month of the year. Happy birthday in advance to every April born. P.S: I rep April 22..... My April kings and queens drop your birthday date in the comment.

November is here, and it's the perfect time to set some meaningful intentions for the month ahead. Let’s make this month all about gratitude, connection and preparing for the Holidays! Take a moment today to reflect on what you're grateful for - whether it’s the warmth of your home, the love of family and friends, or even the small joys that brighten your day. To set the mood, take out some Citrus Bliss and Ginger. Open the bottles and inhale deeply to fill your space with an uplifting and heartwarming aroma. You can also pop these oils in your diffuser or apply them topically (careful, Ginger is considered a hot oil, so be sure to dilute) This blend can help create an atmosphere of positivity and openness, making it easier to embrace those moments of connection that mean so much. By setting your intentions now, you're laying the groundwork for a truly memorable November. What’s something you’re grateful for today?
