I am happy to share that I've been awarded a federal grant of $130,000 to develop my research program on fairness testing. In this project, I will be focused on defining strategies, guidelines, and tools to establish fairness as a fundamental practice in the software industry and to address ethical considerations in technology. This research isn't just about innovation; it's about shaping a future where fairness is a core component of software systems, ensuring that technology serves everyone in our society equitably.

🌐 Excited to share that our research paper titled "𝐏𝐃𝐏𝐏𝐧𝐞𝐭: 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐲-𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫-𝐭𝐨-𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝-𝐄𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐮𝐦 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐐-𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬" was presented at the 2024 IEEE International Workshop on Computer Aided Modeling and Design of Communication Links and Networks (𝐈𝐄𝐄𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐃 2024) in Athens, Greece. 🎉 This work introduces PDPPnet, a synergetic task offloading scheme that leverages multi-agent Double Dueling Deep Q-Networks (DDDQNs) to optimize computational resource allocation in the cloud-edge continuum (CEC). By prioritizing delay-sensitive tasks and enabling efficient peer-to-peer (P2P) and peer-to-cloud (P2C) offloading, PDPPnet significantly enhances task throughput, task prioritization and reduces latency in dynamic environments.
